You can add vasaline to a eyeshadow makes it stay on for longer, avoids getting the powder under your eyes, creates a nicer texture and it's easier to get a very defined shape!! ;) :P
To get your face skin looking good for the next morning, just gently massage it the night before with ice cubes. Don't do it until you feel numb. It really works and it gives you a goodnite sleep
I learned that defining your brows really makes a huge difference on your whole face!
I also learned that it's okay to rock bold colored eyeshadows even for a normal-day look, as long as you tone down other things (like lips, jewelry, etc..)
What I learned is from MichellePhan - the mascara business card trick! This saves me from making my lids black with mascara and you can use even palin paper (not necessary to use a card). I loved this tip, it is sooo convinient.
I realized how bangin' eyeshadow primer was to keep my eyeshadow on longer while looking pigmented and how much I am addicted to glitter on my eyes!!!
i learned that when you are applying mascara on your lashes and you get some on your lid, wait till it dries and then you can just pick it off without ruining ur shadow instead of rubbing it while its still wet
i learned that i HAVE to clean my brushes at least once in a week and tht putting white eyeshadow in my inner corner of my eyes makes them look bigger
using a cream shadow, like dior's ultra shimmering eyeshadow, as a base works just as well as a primer, and sometimes better. thats a time i have learned this year :)
I'm really new to wearing makeup just because I have never wanted to before...but I learned this year that wearing white eyeliner on your lower water line can make your eyes appear larger! LOVE THAT!!!!!
I learned that you can layer on a couple of mascaras while they are still wet to change up the look! You can mix a lengthening mascara with a volumizing mascara and get gorgeous lashes!
A beauty trick that I use often is kind of a no-brainer one, but still good to keep in mind: If a product does not work for you the first time you use it, don't give up on it! Try applying it differently or with another tool, try using it in combination with something else, etc.
i learned how to tight line earlier this year and i've been doing ever since.. found that it definitely makes a difference.. also finally committed to working with liquid eye liner to better define my eyes and i especially love the christian dior liquid liner
The most important beauty tip I have learned this year is that everyone needs to wash their face every night to remove oils and makeup and makeup remover solutions and pads make all the difference. In order to gave great makeup you need a clean palette lol keep your skin clean and fresh!!!!
my main beauty tips i learned this year would just be the basics. I started watching youtube videos right after christmas last year so i learned the right way to apply makeup like foundation and eyeshadow its improved so much from last christmas
The most important beauty tip i've learnt this year was to find proper brushes for my face and eye makeup routine! I never understood the importance of brushes until I began watching these youtube vides
My favorite beauty tip is Boots Make it Matte. It's in a itty bitty bottle and seems really watery and runny, but boy does it work. If you have oily skin like me try it. It will keep your face dry and matte all day.
I learned more about primers, skin care and just everything.. you seem to lear new things everyday with make up and it is soo important.. you gotta keep learning and experimenting ;-)
The importance of maintaining a healthy diet!I actually learned this because i broke out sooo much this year and didn't go away so i changed my diet and after som time my skin cleared up but with my acne it made everythin difficult! bC it wouldnt cover up well my skil looked bumpy and it even made me feel like not putting makeup on bc i thought it looked bad bc if my acne totally horrible expericance. I learned the hard way the importance of a good diet hope no1 else had to learn it like that!
One of the most important beauty tips that I learned this year was the importance of properly shaped eyebrows. I never had really defined eyebrows but I learned how to fill them in and make them more defined and wow! the difference it made on my face it even made my makeup look better and i learned how to do that from your video =] When I went out like that so many people told me that I looked different in a good way! And welll filled in and defined eyebrows are flattering for the whole face!!
i learned how to apply liquid makeup i was wondering why my face was looking like i stayed in the sun way to long but it was because i was using way to much
This is more of a fashion tip but if you buy shoes that are a size too small all you have to do to fix it is, fill little plastic baggies a 1/4 full of water and place them in the front of your shoe. Place them in the freezer and let them stay until frozen solid. Take them out and let stand for 20 mins. Remove the baggies and your set!
I learned that if you are looking for a nude lipstick you should pick one that is 1-2 shades darker then your normal skin tone! Gives you some color but still neutral!
this year I learned about better skin care. Exfoliate and moisturize to make my skin easier to work with and told hold makeup better. Even better is I don't have to use so much makeup to hide my imperfections! YAY!!
first off you super gorgeous i dnt want to offend you or anyhting but you remind me of khloe kardashian idk anywyas lets see theres many things i learned. but i actually will finally learn how to use my eyeshadow brush cause i had never use it before unitl this year sad i knw lol
This year I learned that the key to beauty is to smile and be confident. People always called me ugly and gross cause I never smiled. I had no confidence because of this. The summer of this year, my mom allowed me to wear makeup. I was so excited so I could finally be pretty. I went onto youtube and found you. Your tutorials really boosted my confidence. Kandee Johnson's tip is to smile and be confident, which also helped. Thank you for making me feel good about myself :)
I learned how to do the smokey eye. Ive never been interested in makeup until like, the middle of this year,so Ive been watching videos, and the smokey eye is something I wanted to master. Im still working on it,but I can do it! I think it's easy, and very wearable anywhere!
A great beauty tip I have been using this year has def. been using Cargo's invisible lip liner for the BEST lip erase AND.....here's the best part.......It can also be used in the water line for that natural WIDE awake look( DOES NOT fade and isn't as harsh as a stark white!!!) this is the best, yet simple product that I have used this year!! I've used em all!! It really allows for showcasing the true color you want to wear on your lips Check it out!! BTW, I really enjoy your vids!!
Best tip i learned is to let eyelash glue get tacky before putting them on...also bending them before you put them on makes them adhere to your eye shape better! xo
The best makeup technique I learned was to use a lemon and sugar scrub on your face before you put on your makeup. Your face will look and feel awesome.
I learned how to contour your face properly this helps me look thinner and makes my cheeckbones and jaw line more pronounced I also learnt to save my money to buy more expensive brands e.g. Mac rather than buying lots of cheap rubbish makeup x
when i do make for my friends at school before a performance, and i need to clean or if liquid eyeliner gets messy, use a q-tip and spit, their spit, to clean it.
i learned when using pigments always apply loose powder under the eye so that the fallen pigment could be easily dusted off later without it causing damage to your foundation.
Not so much a great tip as it is a great find, L'Oreal HIP (High Intensity Pigments) have a lot of great, lasting colors that are actually very comparable to MAC shadows, The "Sassy" HIP duo has a shadow that is amazingly close in color to MAC's Satin Taupe, and the color pay-off is just as great. Why not save a few bucks?
My beauty tip of the year concerns hair health :) It's really best to use sulfte-free shampoos, and to not wash your hair everyday, and actually to try and go at least a day or two days (depending on how oily your hair gets) in between washes. You can still shower and wet your hair, just not shampoo. When you do shampoo your hair it's best to only lather at the roots and just work it through the rest while rinsing, without creating a lather. I hope everyone finds this to be useful. Thanks!

I learned how to contour your face properly this helps me look thinner and makes my cheeckbones and jaw line more pronounced I also learnt to save my money to buy more expensive brands e.g. Mac rather than buying lots of cheap rubbish makeup x

i learned when using pigments always apply loose powder under the eye so that the fallen pigment could be easily dusted off later without it causing damage to your foundation.

Thanks!
