Tennis? Are you shitting me??! How about wrestling, judo and jiu jitsu? There is no strain on your shoulders like trying to push or pull 200+lbs at it resists and changes angles. When my labrum tore, it was so loud that for a second I thought my shirt sleeve tore off. Then the pain set in.
Going in for surgery on the 26th of Jan 2012. Torn labrum. Hurts like hell.

atleast 6 months. usually from 6 to 9 months if you're doing a sport
