@cadmus98 I think the whole paper "dunce hat" was more common on television shows and cartoons than in real life OR perhaps it was something done back in the 1950's or earlier. Going to school in the US, during the 1980's I have had to sit in a "time-out" chair in the corner (this was when I was 5 or 6), but I never once had to wear a "dunce hat" nor did I know anybody, personally, who did.
