It would have to be a reproduction, and if thats the case, why does it look like a piece of shit. I mean, look at the Assault Carbine, the Light Machine Gun, the brush gun. Those arent shitty. My point is, its not like the weapons have been sitting since the nuclear blast. If thats the case, all guns are reproductions, IE gun runners. Hunting rifle comes off the belt shit?

The cheaper weapons in game are most likely those that have been owned and passed down generations from people that were there since the war started, hence they only took care of the weapon enough to the point that they still worked, and did their job... over time a poorly cared weapon will look like this... simple logic and realism at work buddy...

@doress111 the 'space gun' is called an alien blaster and you can only get it when you have the wild wasteland trait. You can get it of a group of aliens when you go to northern passage at the top of the map and follow the rocks. :)

New Vegas was just Fallout 3 with new quests and a few new weapons... the graphics were nearly exactly the same... it was a huge letdown to say the least, but The Elder Scrolls Skyrim will come out around next November and they're using a completely new and improved gaming system so hell yeah!

Preparing for an all-out war for Hoover Dam sounds much more interesting than a search for your missing father. you know whats funny? 1 of the best weps in the game a revolver named "Lucky" in prim. you can get it in the safe at the bottom of the building in which the powder gangers have captured the sherif. than you can get "That gun" in novac just go in the dinosaur lockpick the door and it should be there amongst the rockets, dont worry about the guy who owns the shop hes blind like a bat ^^
