This confusion and a lot of other things, is the reason I left the 'church' and CHRISTENDOM, before I could loose my sanity and most importantly, my hope in the Son of GOD and in God Himself! I have attended so many churches in search of the TRUTH, not the garbage that is being forced down our throat in these churches, and 98% of them happen to be the same! The only difference is that one church claims to be the ONLY one preaching the REAL truth! Now I thank God the Holy Spirit teaches me!!

I grew up in a black church, was dragged/guilt tripped into going every Sunday, and sometimes forced to go to services at other black churches too. EVERY SINGLE SERVICE went exactly like this. I absolutely agree... Its a two way street, but i do think that the preachers will be held more accountable for the way that theyre teaching. Theyre supposed to be leading the flock. Then, in turn, ppl don't really want to look at their lives and change, so hopping around and feeling like ur apart of something powerful for that day and writing about it on facebook or whatever is the next best thing. The truth is in the word. The foundation of Jewish, Catholic, and Christian beliefs stands on love. Yes, there are churches that will be off, and churches that are full of life. But if you can believe on him, and just love one another as yourself, all the commandments will follow. love and faith is key.
