@calculatorboyqwe That's true, it is similar to going below low F#, but anytime you find yourself saying something is all "lip" get in the habit of replacing that word with "air". @cmandodud true, when you get into really high notes the valves matter less and less, BUT there are "trick" fingerings for ultra high notes that do help lock them into place better. on a Bb, a double "A" is often easier with 1st valve only, a double B is often open, and so on...
