Obama's good judgment and determination are not only refreshing but also exactly what we need in a leader. Most people hope the recovery package works. If we can leave our grandkids a better world environmentally, educationally, and technologically then it will have been worth the investment.  Jobs drive the economy--bottom up!

Asfar as i can tell, it will work, its the extent to which it works, i doubt it will give a full economic recovery asif nothing had happened, but it will put thing on the right track and wil lead to a full recovery.

I lost my job because of extended illness in my family, and he died and now I get panic attacks, and cannot work. There is no help for people like me. I will be homeless in a few months if I cannot get better. Sorry, just venting, not your concern nor problem. I'll fix it. Thanks for letting us post comments, it helps us(low wrung folks) think that someone actually cares. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that. It does help some when those in charge seem to care. Get some emotional support and talk, talk talk. It is unbelievable how much it helps emotionally and to get ideas. People have great ideas. It cost $10 to sign up as an Avon Rep. and sell door to door, for example (that's what I've been doing for 4 months & love it). Stay in contact with the Unemployment/Employment agencies to see what service can help until you are back on your feet. All the best to you.
