It's a sacrifice. One camaro in the name saving millions of fellow Camaro owners.
It's an exception to laws of physics. No other all-fiber-glass car can hold up like this.
It's a proof. Thousands of people crashed Camaros at high speeds and walked out unharmed. Stories so wild no one would believe. Well, here's proof. This thing is a fucking tank.
@wildbloodydragon You say the Camaro is made out of fiberglass and claim that Camrys are crap. But your lack of knowledge about the Camaro is proof that you don't know anything about cars really, other than what style you like. You are no judge of quality, safety or anything else. A Camry is above your level in every way.
@myphonyaccount Maybe I was slightly vague but you have to be pretty damn ignorant to interpret what I said that way. When I say all-fiber glass I'm obviously talking about the body panels not the frame.
You are no judge to my knowledge, maybe focus on getting your shit together first.
If Camry is above my level, please explain me why is it driven by people who are the most ignorant to cars?
@wildbloodydragon A Camry buyer might not know what a 383 is, but they know what refinement is. Old Camaros, Luminas, Cadillacs, etc shook themselves to pieces because GM didn't invest any time money or effort into them. But before you learn what big words like refinement and quality mean, you must first figure out what material Camaro body panels were made from because fiberglass isnt it.
No, a Camry owner has no fucking clue what refinement is. They'd choose a Camry over Europe's most refined cars. Camry is a disposable tool for people who don't care what they drive to get them from point A to point B; the very least you can expect from a car. A Camry can compare to more than a Lumina. In EVERY aspect.
While my 94 Z28 still looks like a late model car, 94 Camrys are long gone, even junkyards don't carry their parts anymore.
@wildbloodydragon Europes finest don't cost $18K like the old Camry. A 1990s Supra or Nissan Z was also way better than any American muscle car like the Camaro.
@myphonyaccount Europe's finest cost not much more than a Camry after 16 years.
Supra was nearly double the price of a Z28. 300ZX is a good car but not better than the Camaro.
Check out ConsumerGuide. It's a website to guide the average consumer who's not a car expert. Let's check out their final scores for the cars in question for 1994:
Supra 39, Camaro 38, 300ZX 38. Low scores IMO, then again, I'm not the average consumer.
And my favorite part: Lumina: 53, Camry 49....lol, just lol.
@wildbloodydragon ConsumerGuide is for-profit and accepts advertisements - a conflict of interest. Consumer Reports Magazine is non-profit and accepts no ads. It's been around since 1937, longer than any other. They correctly down rate the American products from the 1990s. The warranty numbers also correlate to their research.
@myphonyaccount Advertisement is common practice in all motoring magazines. What you're saying is called bribery, and it's a pretty big accusation to make without any basis to suggest it may be the case.
ConsumerReports is definitely a non-biased magazine, no questioning that. But how do you suggest I find information about cars this old from consumerreports? I have a recent issue and it only goes as far back as 2002.
The fourth-gen F-bodies had steel hoods, steel rear fenders, and steel hatch covers. The roof was also steel (or largely glass, or a soft top, but I digress).
The doors were plastic, not fiberglass. The front fenders were were also plastic.
I detected no fiberglass after I ruined a deer at 65MPH in a 1996 Firebird: There was some broken plastic, some mangled metal, and that was it. The car also died, but everyone else was fine: Crumple zones FTW.

Too bad American cars can't compete anymore. They are only found in trailer parks in the flat, stupid, boring parts of the country not on the coasts where the interesting cities are.
thats because in the "interesting cities" people live off car payments and don't own anything older than 3 years. So yes, all the American muslce is found in smaller towns where not everyone throws away there cars after 3-4 years or thinks that older cars are bad, and even if they have a piece of shit Camry its NEW and thats a status symbol. a NEW piece of shit is better than a OLD amazing car.
lol you are a moron if you believe that and obviously have never been around either cars well enough to know....also logically speaking you are a moron.
If you have a performance car made to run 150mph the parts are made to do that, they are more durable, better quality parts. Whereas the parts in a Camry are made to be basic transportation, on on the highway every now and then, and get fairly good gas mileage...regardless of even knowing the cars, your theory is ridiculous.
@sidescrollin Warranty numbers, initial quality surveys and long term quality reports don't back up your assertions that 90s Camaros are better made and more reliable than 90s Camrys.
@weewoodeal Warranty numbers are private. But Consumer Reports is public. CR matches the warranty data I've seen pretty well. Aftermarket parts makers and dealer staff are less reliable sources because they don't take into account there are way more Camrys on the road than Camaros since most people didn't want Camaros when they shopped for a new car.
@myphonyaccount 18 year old Pontiac Firebird wants a word with you, since 90s camaros/firebirds were better made than the one i own wich is an 80s design i think 90s fbodys will outlast a camry no matter how fuking reliable u think that toyota is, its still a fuking econobox that wont gain anything but rust and dirt in the years it still runs. Why the hell are u even comparing a sports car to an economy car anyways ?
@myphonyaccount Im not upset bro. The Camaro is a great platform to do whatever you want with. I've had many Camaros/Trans ams in my lifetime and my current one for almost 10 years. Always started, never left me stranded, lots of fun and will gain value in the years to come.
@myphonyaccount Someone needs to do some research. You're telling me that a 69 Camaro hasn't gained value in recent years? A 2nd Gen hasn't? 3rd Gen is on its way and the 4th Gens will be worth more than them. There is a market for these cars outside of people who just buy a car to pile miles on like a Camry.
@warmachine1983 Camaros from 1995 do NOT gain value because as time went on in the 80s and 90s, these cars got junkier and junkier. Even the new one will most likely not "gain" value unless it's a rare edition.
@warmachine1983 If there's a Camaro from 1995 that went up in value, please tell me which one so I can check it on Kelley Blue Book. They are the authority on this.
@warmachine1983 Wow that's sick. I've had a Camaro for what, 2 years? And it's already left me stranded several times.
Then again it's a 17 year old sports car that's been abused and poorly maintained all its life so I don't blame it. Some small repairs laters and wallah, it's as reliable as a Mercedes...the 14mpg is still a bitch though. lol.
@wildbloodydragon hahah i have a 95 z28 and that car always leaves me stranded. its so fucking annoying. when i fix the issue another one comes up. time to buy myself another car.
@wildbloodydragon its got 110,000 miles. and its probably getting about 14 miles a gallon. but when i step on it its probably getting like 12. its a gas guzzler
@ImmortalSpammer Just like mine. I had 106k and I was getting 13-14. Never above 14. 11 when I put my foot into it. Then I did a seafoam, cleaned up my MAF sensors and my air intake, got the ALDL cable and software and bought a tune from lt1pcmtuning. Big difference on the highway, got about 20mpg a coupla times, and about 1 or 2 mpg better in city and traffic. It's worth it.
@kz1000ps in 1996 the chev camaro had the lowest motor fatality rate of any vehicle built in North America - most were RWD cars, mostly sports cars. (helps to have room for a V8 - front crush zone)
Some years ago i crash into a japanees car with my Chevrolet Malibu 1976 mod.We crash front to front in the speed of 30mph.Nothing left of the japanees car,i was driving the Chevy for one year before i sold it.
The car caught fire. I couldn't open the drivers side door. I had to crawl out the passenger side. I ended up with a sprained ankle, whiplash, and some bruises. The impact was at about 65 MPH. I hit a Dodge dynasty that spun off another accident.
how little you know american cars have a better crash safety rating than Japanease cars, but im not saying japanease cars are necessarily bad either. American cars rule they are so much faster too america all the way zackypoo25 is right.
the reason jap cars are doing better is cause u can get far better fuel outta a 2litre turbo than a fukn 7 litre tank engine u americans whine about fuel prices when ur gallon is cheaper than a uk liter if u came to uk u would see very little real american cars they just cant take it how the japs can get so much power from a 2 litre oh not to mention they look a shit lot better 2
Jealousy? So what if we have cheaper gas. You don't have to be freakin rascist. Plus, we have a Jap car. Plus why would I wanna goto the UK and own some tiny death trap? I perfer my Accord and Grandmarquis.
Yeah... sorry I meant "Racialist". Rascism in its technical meaning is a good thing. Racialism is the technical term for the slang term "Rascist" (bad thing)
THEY ARE! Any small car with a top safety ratings (especially sub-compact), WILL NOT HOLD UP IN A CRASH! Its diffrent in europe where cars are smaller, but odds are here, you'll be hit by a big car. I drive a Lexus GS, it is a big and safe car. An IS, a smaller version with the same amount of safety features and same safety rating, still isn't as safe. In a head on crash between a vehicle and one 2x heavier, the passengers in the heavy vehicle have 8x less chance of being injured or killed.
I never said Lexus was european. It's Japanese; I know the results. Yeah, many Japanese and European small cars are very safe for their class, BUT what I was saying is a 5 Star Large Sedan is safer than a 5 star small one. Crash ratings are always within class. Yes a safe subcompact car can have compatibility with a large car, but not a midsized SUV (what many/most drive on the road here). The word Deathtrap is relative. I mean here in the US, a subcompact, 5 star or not, is a deathtrap.
Well yeah, that's what I meant. I mean, a subcompact isn't common here... compacts are somewhat common, but the Camry sized car is most run of the mill. Plus, its my understanding in Europe all cars are smaller. 2 small cars hitting each other isn't really too bad if they are safe.
Well, it is based on Damage to the dummy, however, the tests all work like this: Hitting a flat wall at 40MPH is like being in a head on wreck with another car of the same size comming at 40MPH in the other direction. Therefore, a Mini Cooper crashed into a wall would be like 2 mini coopers hitting head on. A Crown Vic into a wall is like 2 crown vics colliding... etc. However, side impact results are the same among all categories. Only frontal is by class.
in general cars are tested on a 40% zone impact in order to put more stress at a certain point. so i don't think it's exactly like two same cars hitting each other. i'll search a little to see if the frontal crash really is sorted by class, because i honestly don't know
No, it is like 2 cars of same size hitting each other. Frontal crashes are 100% class based. Hitting a static object reflects the kenetic energy of what hits it (offset or flat angle). Since side impact tests are used with barriers with wheels, it's not like 2 cars of same size hitting. Rear test is also non-class specific. Side impact is NOT class specific, but all frontal crash results are class specific.
i meant that ita a jap car because it came from japan from its origin. i know they are built here but they are made with the imported parts from japan if you didnt know that then your pretty stupid. The only real american car makers in america are GM, Chysler, and Ford they make the best cars ever.
And yes, American cars are poor quality, with the exception of Ford, they've really made a serious comeback. The Ford Fusion is fairly high quality, but for the most part, I buy Japanese cars (like Lexus); efficient, luxurious, and reliable.
awesome nobody cares about your gay lexus.. bullshit beacuse look at the f150 crash test from like 2001 its the worst crash test ever. the whole truck buckles in the middle its terrible.
I know about that. Fords did suck. I'm saying they are RECOVERING and are comming back. And Fuck you; I don't need your fucking attitude. I don't care if you don't care. Take ur attitude and ram it up your ass.
fuck u fagot.... we whine bout gas because it needs to come down in price...not because we are to stupid to buy a japanese car u uk fackface.... i hope germany takes over ur pathdic uk so i can sit back an not rescue u like last ww
u jap fan boys know why jap cars are selling more, its because the jap gov wont let more then a small number of cars to be imported so the jap economy will get better and stay better therefor the only cars sold in japan are jap cars, hmm if Canada and usa were to do that honda and toyota would be screwed
Or it's because they're ten times more reliable than our American crap. America hasn't produced a quality car for a long time. Cadillac is *just* starting to catch up with Germany, but our reliability still sucks ass compared to Honda or Toyota. Hondas can easily go to 200,000 miles. Any American car is a huge stretch to even get it close to that.
yeah no kidding, i had an 2002 Explorer did over 200.000 miles and only big issue was i had to change the solenoid box of the transmission after all that driving. I have a Stang doesn't give me problems at all never left me on the road even when i had two faulty injectors that they messed up at NAPA it flooded two cylinders with gasoline but still never stalled and i got it home waiting for the new injectors to arrive. So very solid engine if you ask me.
I have a Park Avenue with 235,000km on it and all I've done is an intake gasket, some brake work, and a muffler that rotted. Front end is all original, rad is original, rear suspension, all original. Not bad for a 1997.
Well I've got a 98 Z28 drag car with 134,000 miles on the chassis and 20k on the rebuilt motor and I've broken everything from the bellhousing back. HA! I WIN! Seriously why argue about who has the more reliable daily driver.
talking big there. why would USA ever close the doors to japanese car manufacturer, while it creates so much jobs?
and why your american cars with supersized engine sell great in USA and shit in europe, it's because your government subsidies like hell the oil price... and also because you're so patriotic :(
Im sorry to hear that buddy. You have no idea how much i hate chrysler in general! I worked on a 2001 Sebring Convertible with a leaking rack and pinion. It only had 60,000 miles on it and was a total pain in the a**!! Booktime said it was 5 hr job with alignment to do, but it took me a day and a 1/2 to get it done. Not only that but the front struts were messed up as well and needed to be replaced! A 1,500 dollar job without strut replacement! Waste of money & a waste of my time!
the 2 door sebrings take most of the parts and design from mitsubishi eclipses(I don't think the newest generation does though..) but the four doors I believe are actually chrystler designed and manufactured
Same with KIA and Hyundai being the shit of the asian family, they work fine for a few months then all hell breaks loose knocking shocks, ball joints tapping, engine having problems with timing i'll never buy a Korean car.
the tacoma recall is true, i talked to a guy at work that has a 96, and said he got the check yesterdya for $8200 when his truck was valued at less than 5k. they are giving 1.5 times the value of it.
sorry i was mistaken for now. chrysler is dropping at least 4 models and/or versions of models. on the list are...crossfire, pacifica, pt cruiser convertable, and sebring. but i think more will follow.
dodge is not better. chrysler is dropping at least 7 cars within next few years, because their cars have low reputations and ram has horrible gas mileage, they arent selling well. pretty much chrysler is being kept alive by the caravan, challenger, and the 09 ram. time will tell because ram has a lot of new innovations for trucks, so they might pick up sales but not till challenger and ram are on sale.
um i dont know if you heard but toyota has been cheating. they never issued recalls, they just replaced the part while the car was in the garage for whatever. new law says they have to report recalls now. so thats why ford says its quality now equal to toyota. also nissan should be out of that list too, they just recalled all 95-2000 tacomas because of bad frames, and are giving owners 1.5 times the value of the truck.
wow im way off! lol i know toyota makes tacomas, i had a brain fart. also i was told this by a car enthusiast but cannot find any articles of it so i guess so far its not true?
They aren't statistically safe at all. However, a big factor in those statistics is the way they are driven. If most cars had the power and were driven like Camaros, they would be much less safe statistically as well.
i love long bonnets!

@kz1000ps Uhm.,.. most cars do that on this test... this shows nothing, we need an offset test of it before you can say that
KillanatorVids 1 year ago
@kz1000ps in 1996 the chev camaro had the lowest motor fatality rate of any vehicle built in North America - most were RWD cars, mostly sports cars. (helps to have room for a V8 - front crush zone)

Some years ago i crash into a japanees car with my Chevrolet Malibu 1976 mod.We crash front to front in the speed of 30mph.Nothing left of the japanees car,i was driving the Chevy for one year before i sold it.

I walked away from a front impact in a '94 Camaro convertible.
towmangmc 2 years ago
Was there anything left of the Camaro??
debrajl529 2 years ago
The car caught fire. I couldn't open the drivers side door. I had to crawl out the passenger side. I ended up with a sprained ankle, whiplash, and some bruises. The impact was at about 65 MPH. I hit a Dodge dynasty that spun off another accident.

Ouch, that sux... Did you replace it or get something else?

DeviateRazo 3 years ago
why? because we dont have the best gas mileage? Dude american cars are 10 times more durable than any foreign car.
The only reason you see so many shitty american cars is because too many retards not knowing how to take car of them.
H4Z4RDUS 3 years ago
how little you know american cars have a better crash safety rating than Japanease cars, but im not saying japanease cars are necessarily bad either. American cars rule they are so much faster too america all the way zackypoo25 is right.

jap cars are doing the best because they have advanced technology so they have better naterials than any car. i think...
WindowsXpHelp 3 years ago
Ya they do.. you're right. Same with euro luxury cars.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
the reason jap cars are doing better is cause u can get far better fuel outta a 2litre turbo than a fukn 7 litre tank engine u americans whine about fuel prices when ur gallon is cheaper than a uk liter if u came to uk u would see very little real american cars they just cant take it how the japs can get so much power from a 2 litre oh not to mention they look a shit lot better 2
scorpionruf 3 years ago
Jealousy? So what if we have cheaper gas. You don't have to be freakin rascist. Plus, we have a Jap car. Plus why would I wanna goto the UK and own some tiny death trap? I perfer my Accord and Grandmarquis.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
dude, look up meaning of "racist"
sujajajjaakakajjs 3 years ago
Yeah... sorry I meant "Racialist". Rascism in its technical meaning is a good thing. Racialism is the technical term for the slang term "Rascist" (bad thing)
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
don't you DARE say that small european cars are deathtraps.
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
In a head on crash between a vehicle and one 2x heavier, the passengers in the heavy vehicle have 8x less chance of being injured or killed.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
first, lexus ain't european.
and take a look at the citroen c1, c2, smart fortwo, peugeot 206, 207, 307, renault twingo, VW polo, golf, and lotsa others.
look at the compatibility results, front impact results, ar anything. think about it.
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
I never said Lexus was european. It's Japanese; I know the results. Yeah, many Japanese and European small cars are very safe for their class, BUT what I was saying is a 5 Star Large Sedan is safer than a 5 star small one. Crash ratings are always within class. Yes a safe subcompact car can have compatibility with a large car, but not a midsized SUV (what many/most drive on the road here). The word Deathtrap is relative. I mean here in the US, a subcompact, 5 star or not, is a deathtrap.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
that's better.
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
Well yeah, that's what I meant. I mean, a subcompact isn't common here... compacts are somewhat common, but the Camry sized car is most run of the mill. Plus, its my understanding in Europe all cars are smaller. 2 small cars hitting each other isn't really too bad if they are safe.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
agreed. compatibility is and will always be a big problem.
but i always thought the results in stars was based on how much damage the dummy took, and wasn't affected by any kind of car classification.
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
Well, it is based on Damage to the dummy, however, the tests all work like this: Hitting a flat wall at 40MPH is like being in a head on wreck with another car of the same size comming at 40MPH in the other direction. Therefore, a Mini Cooper crashed into a wall would be like 2 mini coopers hitting head on. A Crown Vic into a wall is like 2 crown vics colliding... etc. However, side impact results are the same among all categories. Only frontal is by class.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
in general cars are tested on a 40% zone impact in order to put more stress at a certain point. so i don't think it's exactly like two same cars hitting each other. i'll search a little to see if the frontal crash really is sorted by class, because i honestly don't know
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
No, it is like 2 cars of same size hitting each other. Frontal crashes are 100% class based. Hitting a static object reflects the kenetic energy of what hits it (offset or flat angle). Since side impact tests are used with barriers with wheels, it's not like 2 cars of same size hitting. Rear test is also non-class specific. Side impact is NOT class specific, but all frontal crash results are class specific.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
how did he say it was from europe?
weewoodeal 3 years ago
hate to burst your bubble dude but they are death traps...
xWOODYHAYESx 3 years ago
prove it, prove that a 4/5 star rated car is a death trap.
DeviateRazo 3 years ago
actually its not a death trap is a dodge neon or any japenese car
zackypoo25 3 years ago
Japanese cars are not death traps chinese cars are..
DrYiCe34 3 years ago
you my friend are a dumbass
alexkvaskov 3 years ago
ok this car is in great condition after a crash but with a jap car theres noting left
zackypoo25 3 years ago
yeah a lame full frontal
any jap and even chinese car pass full frontal
you must know nothing about crash testing if you are comparing a full frontal and offset
cars are supposed to crumple to absorb the energy
if the hood is crumpled a little, that's not very good
did you know that toyota has 7 iihs top safety picks? and every single current gen acura and honda vehicle is an iihs tsp?
alexkvaskov 3 years ago
ahhh shit your stupid and dont know much about american built quality fuck jap shit live on american cars
zackypoo25 3 years ago
ahhh shit your stupid and don't know how to spell
it's you're you idiot
i don't care if you like american cars more
but it's a fact that jap cars are safer in general than american cars, they have less defects and are more reliable

fuck you
you win whatever

i don't really care that i won
everyone has their own opinion and i am not bashing you for liking american cars
i'm just saying that jap cars beat american cars in some places
alexkvaskov 3 years ago
ok so
i like american cars you like jap cars there
no hard feelings
zackypoo25 3 years ago
yeah that's the best way to put it
plus the americans make much better trucks and better v8s than the japs
alexkvaskov 3 years ago
yeah
but do they even make v8s??and trucks that arent titanium?
zackypoo25 3 years ago
lol
toyota has v8s
alexkvaskov 3 years ago
i thought toyota was made in america
what i meant by jap cars is like scions, hondas, and other ones like subaru
zackypoo25 3 years ago
Zacky, Honda is made in the US, hell they've got a plant in Doraville, GA. Scion IS Toyota, and is thus produced in the states.
Piro42 3 years ago
you dont know what i meant do u??
i meant that ita a jap car because it came from japan from its origin. i know they are built here but they are made with the imported parts from japan if you didnt know that then your pretty stupid. The only real american car makers in america are GM, Chysler, and Ford they make the best cars ever.
zackypoo25 3 years ago 2
man u r damn right american cars Just suck
looda90 3 years ago
And yes, American cars are poor quality, with the exception of Ford, they've really made a serious comeback. The Ford Fusion is fairly high quality, but for the most part, I buy Japanese cars (like Lexus); efficient, luxurious, and reliable.
mkgamesdotnet 3 years ago
awesome nobody cares about your gay lexus.. bullshit beacuse look at the f150 crash test from like 2001 its the worst crash test ever. the whole truck buckles in the middle its terrible.

Wow, I'm surprised, not ragging on the Camaro I love them and all I just didn't think it'd do that well for a cheaper sports car.
samjezard 3 years ago
u jap fan boys know why jap cars are selling more, its because the jap gov wont let more then a small number of cars to be imported so the jap economy will get better and stay better therefor the only cars sold in japan are jap cars, hmm if Canada and usa were to do that honda and toyota would be screwed
trabantguy 3 years ago 12
Or it's because they're ten times more reliable than our American crap. America hasn't produced a quality car for a long time. Cadillac is *just* starting to catch up with Germany, but our reliability still sucks ass compared to Honda or Toyota. Hondas can easily go to 200,000 miles. Any American car is a huge stretch to even get it close to that.
YoMomSaddam 3 years ago
there is a chevy 1500 that just put 1 million miles, and a old lady just put 1.1 mill on her camaro.
i didnt mean this in an offensive way
trabantguy 3 years ago 5
yeah no kidding, i had an 2002 Explorer did over 200.000 miles and only big issue was i had to change the solenoid box of the transmission after all that driving. I have a Stang doesn't give me problems at all never left me on the road even when i had two faulty injectors that they messed up at NAPA it flooded two cylinders with gasoline but still never stalled and i got it home waiting for the new injectors to arrive. So very solid engine if you ask me.
BruteCommando 3 years ago
I have a Park Avenue with 235,000km on it and all I've done is an intake gasket, some brake work, and a muffler that rotted. Front end is all original, rad is original, rear suspension, all original. Not bad for a 1997.
Zxceelxuz 3 years ago 2
I have a 1996 honda accord with 150,000 MILES on it, and all I've done is maintenance...oil, brakepads, timing belt...yeah, that's it :)

in response to trabantguy,
talking big there. why would USA ever close the doors to japanese car manufacturer, while it creates so much jobs?
and why your american cars with supersized engine sell great in USA and shit in europe, it's because your government subsidies like hell the oil price... and also because you're so patriotic :(

RazorRC3 3 years ago
Shit, That sucks man.
95BMW850CSI 3 years ago
the 2 door sebrings take most of the parts and design from mitsubishi eclipses(I don't think the newest generation does though..) but the four doors I believe are actually chrystler designed and manufactured
sixninecutty 3 years ago
Chrysler sucks, that i gotta admit.
Same with KIA and Hyundai being the shit of the asian family, they work fine for a few months then all hell breaks loose knocking shocks, ball joints tapping, engine having problems with timing i'll never buy a Korean car.

the tacoma recall is true, i talked to a guy at work that has a 96, and said he got the check yesterdya for $8200 when his truck was valued at less than 5k. they are giving 1.5 times the value of it.
timmypstyle 3 years ago
crap, not sebring, the magnum is being dropped if it hasnt already, but i think sebring is supposed to go too later on
timmypstyle 3 years ago
sorry i was mistaken for now. chrysler is dropping at least 4 models and/or versions of models. on the list are...crossfire, pacifica, pt cruiser convertable, and sebring. but i think more will follow.
timmypstyle 3 years ago
dodge is not better. chrysler is dropping at least 7 cars within next few years, because their cars have low reputations and ram has horrible gas mileage, they arent selling well. pretty much chrysler is being kept alive by the caravan, challenger, and the 09 ram. time will tell because ram has a lot of new innovations for trucks, so they might pick up sales but not till challenger and ram are on sale.
timmypstyle 3 years ago
um i dont know if you heard but toyota has been cheating. they never issued recalls, they just replaced the part while the car was in the garage for whatever. new law says they have to report recalls now. so thats why ford says its quality now equal to toyota. also nissan should be out of that list too, they just recalled all 95-2000 tacomas because of bad frames, and are giving owners 1.5 times the value of the truck.
timmypstyle 3 years ago
wow im way off! lol i know toyota makes tacomas, i had a brain fart. also i was told this by a car enthusiast but cannot find any articles of it so i guess so far its not true?
timmypstyle 3 years ago
They aren't statistically safe at all. However, a big factor in those statistics is the way they are driven. If most cars had the power and were driven like Camaros, they would be much less safe statistically as well.
