  • It would be super cool if someone could post actual gameplay footage, considering the trailer looks pretty cool. This brings back a lot of memories of the 90s!

    good times!

  • You guys who say the graphics sucks are probably geeks.remember the year is 1994 and most of the games are either scrolling shooters or with block pixels and w/o the availability of today's advanced programs, graphics engines and computing ability. This is not myst and it does'nt try to be.Its more of a sci-fi game while myst is a fantasy setting.Game making was not more of an art back then. The coverpage artwork for the game looked very cool, when I saw it in computer world as a kid back in the 90s

  • I remember that one of my parents had bought this game for me (after I saw it advertised on that Game-Empire disc) but I misplaced this game so very long ago. But anyhow, thanks so very much for this video-trailer, I had thought about it from time to time in my mind and now I can live this anytime I desire to. The other thing I had been looking for for so very long was the introduction sequence for "Emperor of the Fading Suns", which was such a good video for it's time. I didn't really...

  • ...knowing that there are like 7 Myst titles now (Myst, Riven: Sequel to Myst, Myst III, Myst IV, and then the spin-off Uru series with the "Path of the Shell" and another expansion pack, and I've only played a ll' bit of Myst III and non of Myst IV, but I've always been fond of the Myst series because I loved it when I was a kid and so it's like major nostalgia for me, and let me tell you what, listening to video-gaming music is the biggest nostalgia feeling ever, brings everything back.

  • Wow, I cannot believe how easily I found this video on YouTube. I believe that I searched for this video on here like a few years ago and nothing was found, but I had this on my mind today, and here it is. I couldn't seem to remember for sure which CD-ROM disc this trailer was on, but I vividly remember the music, it just seemed to fit very well with this trailer. I thought the game was good for it's time in 1995, and I have major nostalgia for Myst also, especially knowing that...

  • I spent ages looking for this video ty ty ty for upload!!!

  • "I have a weird nostalgia for this trailer though."

Same here, and the game was really pretty bad, so I don't know why I have any fond memories of it, lol.

  • "Your video, Maabus trailer, may have audio content from Think About The Way by Frisco vs Ice MC that is owned or licensed by UMG."

Well, that's a match! Sorry to the folks who can no longer view the video.

  • EdOscuro why is this a response video? It is nearly the same as the other video.

  • I had this game, it was just an ugly full motion Myst rip off with "push the correct button before the death animation starts" gameplay. Oh yeah, and there was a game killing bug where the bomb at the end of the game can't be defused. Something like that.

I have a weird nostalgia for this trailer though.

  • same here

  • Yeah, this trailer is more interesting than the game was. I remember poking around Softkey's Game Empire 2 disk and playing it. A bit of trivia - the first edition of Game Empire 2 had the full (not the shareware) version of Rise of the Triad on it. Someone goofed! Game Empire 2 also had a game written by me on it - "Darwin's Arena". A video ad for it is on my Youtube channel.

  • @sodakmonk HOLY FU*K (Hears about Full Version of ROTT being on that DAMN 2nd Volume Disc.

I remember when I was 8 in 2002 when I saw the Volume 1 SoftKey disc of Game Empire and a few years later I finally discovered a copy of Jazz Jackrabbit after getting internet access and after seeing it in the other titles screen in the Epic Pinball orderscreenXD

It was 2005 when I finally got Jazz Jackrabbit(Full Version including JJR2) and also when I discovered the magic of DOSBox

  • she's a scottish accent. "wey" instead of way and "pley" not play

  • Hehe, oldie game, but I still love the trailer.

  • Heh heh. This video came with a DOOM editing CD I once had. It quite good.

  • The trailer claims 2000 hours of music?????

I played the game and it had no music beyond a short bit at the start. This trailer is almost more interesting than the game was.

  • Not 2000 hours, but apparently "710 Hours of music selections" which apparently means that somebody listened to a lot of music and got paid for it! ;)

I guess the trailer's music is public domain or licensed, so...

  • THANK YOU! I've been looking for the disc this video came from for YEARS! Now I actually have a chance of finding it!

  • Now since i cant find the game can anyone have the game put up a video showing wat the game is really like it looks cool

  • La mia leggenda nasce grazie a questo videogame!

  • I actually really liked this game. Just this video sucks is all.

  • Yeah when i saw the trailer i was like holy shit. The music is mucho hype, it is from the trainspotting soundtrack. AnyOne know the title?

  • geile musik

  • cool music

  • Anyone who has ever actually played this game knows that the stats are WAY over exaggerated. Even when released in '95, this game was shit.

  • Dear god, it's the music from Trainspotting if I'm not wrong.

  • They invested almost as much time as IonStorm invested in Daikatana... which doesn't say much.

    El Cernex

  • This looks like a Collins College commercial.
