You cant notice one bit between both consoles. Although the PS3 currently is 300 pounds compared to the Xbox360 which is 140 pounds. I know that the Ps3 does has free online but Xbox360 is 40 quid a year. If you think about it thats nothing. The blueray does no shit really unless you watch movies. So they are both good consoles in different ways.

Xbox 360 looks like it has better qraphics do to the fact that the xbox covers more contrast, which sliqhtly makes some xbox qames look better than ps3, but if you have a ps2 with hd cables like i do, some of the qames for the ps3 will blow xbox360 qames out of the water. So their 50/50 quys, some qames look qood on ps3, and some dont. Such as prototype for the ps3, looks crappy, even with the cables, but for the 360, its looks perfectly fine. No arquement.
Ps3 supports HDMI 3.0 while 360 only uses 2.0 and after that it mostly depends on ur tvs contrast ratio.
You fail the reason games like prototype look worse on ps3 is because it was developed for the 360 in mind as their lead development platform.... Similarly to how burnout paradise and mirrors edge look better on ps3 because ps3 was the lead platform...
For people complaining about how 360 is too bright, all i can say is that the brightness is adjustable in the options menu. So it doesnt matter if u have a 360 or ps3 cos u can both tone down or tone up the brightness as u see fit.

Actualy ps3 and the 360 had the same developing time, the only reason that the ps3 came out a year later is because it actualy did the testing phase (which takes a year) and xbox360 skipped there testing phase (which is why it has such a bad failure rate) they were actualy meant to come out around the same time... ps3 did not do much to the ps3 within that year gap because they were trying to lower to failure rate of the ps3 which they did superbly...

Xbox 360 looks like it has better qraphics do to the fact that the xbox covers more contrast, which sliqhtly makes some xbox qames look better than ps3, but if you have a ps2 with hd cables like i do, some of the qames for the ps3 will blow xbox360 qames out of the water. So their 50/50 quys, some qames look qood on ps3, and some dont. Such as prototype for the ps3, looks crappy, even with the cables, but for the 360, its looks perfectly fine. No arquement.

360 DOES not have a better contrast ratio...
Ps3 supports HDMI 3.0 while 360 only uses 2.0 and after that it mostly depends on ur tvs contrast ratio.
You fail the reason games like prototype look worse on ps3 is because it was developed for the 360 in mind as their lead development platform.... Similarly to how burnout paradise and mirrors edge look better on ps3 because ps3 was the lead platform...

For people complaining about how 360 is too bright, all i can say is that the brightness is adjustable in the options menu. So it doesnt matter if u have a 360 or ps3 cos u can both tone down or tone up the brightness as u see fit.

there is this forum on the internet, where a game developer compares the two consoles PS3 and 360, and he said that ps3 may be blu ray compatible and is released after 360, which is expected to own 360 graphics wise, but he said the the GPU of the 360 or something like that is so powerful, and he also said about fill rate which he favors the 360, and that 360 should offer better graphics but then he also said that it depends on how the developers created the game.......

Actualy ps3 and the 360 had the same developing time, the only reason that the ps3 came out a year later is because it actualy did the testing phase (which takes a year) and xbox360 skipped there testing phase (which is why it has such a bad failure rate) they were actualy meant to come out around the same time... ps3 did not do much to the ps3 within that year gap because they were trying to lower to failure rate of the ps3 which they did superbly...

i dont think that the 360 has a better online :s... i had my free xbox live for a month thingy a few weeks ago and found it not nearly as good as the playstation network, i only used 2 days of my free xbox live before quiting it... I find playstation 3 more organised and love the quality of what im getting... Ide pay for ps3 online if you had to... But i sure as hell aint payin for live... But that might be because im use to the playstations interface/connectivity more

You've been using PSN since launch and you still love it. A lot of people agree with me when I say LIVE gets boring QUICK! PSN always has something new and it does not have a childish dashboard.

They look pretty much the same. It's about the FPS{frame per second} and gameplay that makes them different. Top of that if you want to change the brightness you can so in the end it's the same.
