@vargxin Looks like a sort of plastic rubbery material, with a lot of mechanics inside. You can't make a Tim Burton-esque stop-motion film in your garage (unless you're Bill Gates, with money coming out your ears and a very special garage).

I love both The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride not only because they're both are excellent movies but also because they use puppets and built sets and didn't make everything with the computer.  It's really unique and brilliant. Sorry for mistakes. English isn't my native language.

the characters motions and expressions are so flawlessly done. burton did a superb job of creating the bleak world of the living and jollier, more colorful afterlife. i also love the humor in the film (''why go up there when people are dying to come down here?'' etc.)
