  • You should tell him. If he really loves you, and really cares, he will try and help you feel better and he will support you. If he freaks out, then he doesn't love you for who you are. An alternative to cutting is using ice to rub the arm and it numbs it. It's relatively as effective. Or you could wear a rubber band around your wrist and snap it at your arm instead of drawing blood. I do understand how you feel. I am on medications too and I still feel the same. Hang in there :)

  • @musicchik16 i told him he got upset ( i knew he would) but we are ok now and hes gonna help me quit 6 years of SI and i finally have someone who wants to listen sure he hates that i do it but he wants to help ill be 21 in oct. and cant wait although i dont ever really drink cause of my meds but il deff have one for my birthday, thanks musicchik16 your really cool

  • @kittywiskers102 Well, now you know that he truly loves you :) It's great when you can find someone who wants to help and cares for you enough to help you quit. I'm so glad that you found him :) I hope you start feeling better. Believe me, I know how you feel. My birthday is in October too! The 28th.

  • how come i can have a great boyfriend yet still feel so alone and want to cut, i feel like my past will never stay in the past, the hate, the fear, the violnce,the worng, the failer, the wieght, the hurt, i am on meds ant still cut, my meds make me feel like nothing im in a daze, im afraid to tell him and i know hiding my cuts (he feels im lieing if i do) but how do i tell him how i feel when i do he blames himself and its not his fault
