  • This is a two stroke engine and this noise probably comes from bad compression rings and your piston runs too loose inside the cylinder

  • bring it to the dealer or buy a new motor a px one

  • @guninhatersdown Scooterworks have one for about $1000.00. Not a bad price if you ask me.

  • @killercrx91 really is that a holiday special or normal price because yeah its a good price

  • @guninhatersdown I don't know but they are selling them now for $1000.00 and you get free shipping aswell.

  • Obvious knocking going on there. If your piston/rings aren't jacked, you should probably look into some bearings for that crank. Something is loose in there somewhere. Sounds a lot like some kind of piston flutter to me. Do what the other guy said and have a look at your reeds. I like to flip the reeds over when my bike starts bogging and getting sluggish like that.

  • pull of the top end and look at the cylinder,

    look for scoring and scratches

  • It could be anything. Pull cylinder look for damage. pull carb check reed valve for damage. Pull flywheel look for anything lose.

Many stellas came with bad crank bearings. The cage that holds the bearings together break, and blows the engine. It breaks at around 8,000 to 15,000 miles.

I own a stella fireball broke at 10,000.

    I put a 177 kit, 24 24 carb, mazzucchelle crank,

    good luck.

  • what year stella is that? You might have a soft seizure where it bogs down if you throttle it. It happened to my 08.
