a virgin, maybe you are confusing yourself with me, indie rock is far better than metal as people who listen to it have brains and the members don't have creepy obsessive fans who shoot members in the head, but if any good came out of that dimebag incident it's that pantera can never reform which is definitely a great thing.

death cab for cutie have been around since 1997 maybe you are thinking of bands such as pavement and the mid 1990's indie rock bands. Ben Gibbard has proved himself to be just as good as lyrcist and poet as his hero John Lennon. I am pretty damn arrogant thanks for asking.
