Roger Federer is a great champion for many obvious reasons but one thing makes him a standout - he is the only one from the current top players who has been able to avoid any significant injury during his long career. No knee, wrist, back, shoulder... surgeries. THAT'S AMAZING!!!

Well, Djokovic has had an amazing season. But Federer has 12 more GS than Nole....12!!! That is 2 more than what Nadal has, and 1 more than what Borg has...so it is a hell of a difference still. That being said, this is a golden era for tennis and it brings back memories of great rivalries like those between Lendl, Connors, McEnroe, Borg. Now the names change. When Roger lost it as like my heart was ripped out, I didn't know what was happening. And even now after Roger broke Novak's streak in the semi finals at the French Open it still hurts to watch this. :( I think the worst part is how sad Roger seems in this presser. Federer should stay cool in matches, he is beginning to argue more during important matches, and it has an effect on him, instead he should finish the point and then see what happens... and also his 1st Serve percentage recently in Madrid and Rome have been, well bad... he needs to get back to the Wimbledon 2009 service level, where on average his 1st serve was over 70%, and was toe to toe in aces against Roddick, even had more aces than Roddick in the final...

I don't get it why there is so much negativity here. Tennis is a sport not a war. We talk about sportsmanship all the time - I think that should apply not only to the tennis players but also to the fans.
Roger Federer is a great champion for many obvious reasons but one thing makes him a standout - he is the only one from the current top players who has been able to avoid any significant injury during his long career. No knee, wrist, back, shoulder... surgeries. THAT'S AMAZING!!!

Their posts may include "Serbia is great" or something like that. Well, Djokovic has had an amazing season. But Federer has 12 more GS than Nole....12!!! That is 2 more than what Nadal has, and 1 more than what Borg has...so it is a hell of a difference still. That being said, this is a golden era for tennis and it brings back memories of great rivalries like those between Lendl, Connors, McEnroe, Borg. Now the names change. In particular, look how Rafa has improved his serve, volley, transition, etc...he's a capable all-court player now. Novack has improved his serve, forehand, fitness and overall consistency. To suggest that Roger remains calm no matter the occasion is simply not true...he has leaped into the air screaming, and I've lost count of how many times he's fallen down to his knees or thrown himself down onto the court. I do agree that Nole's family can be rude and annoying, while Rafa and Roger's team are generally excited but respectful.

I'm a big time Nadal fan, but I hope Federer keeps playing and entertaining us for a few more years at least. It's gonna be a long time before we see players like these. When Roger lost it as like my heart was ripped out, I didn't know what was happening. And even now after Roger broke Novak's streak in the semi finals at the French Open it still hurts to watch this. :( I think the worst part is how sad Roger seems in this presser. I am glad he has stepped it up now, he is still the greatest athlete of all time and I love him. And I hope so much that the rest of the season goes brilliantly for him!

Federer should stay cool in matches, he is beginning to argue more during important matches, and it has an effect on him, instead he should finish the point and then see what happens... and also his 1st Serve percentage recently in Madrid and Rome have been, well bad... he needs to get back to the Wimbledon 2009 service level, where on average his 1st serve was over 70%, and was toe to toe in aces against Roddick, even had more aces than Roddick in the final...

@bagivoje branis federera gnjidicu?svejedno ih je nole sve oduvao bez obzira i da izgubi na roland garosu a verujem da nece.tako da li 5 ili 6 meseci stvarno nema veze.
