  • I love how Ian McKellen just LOOKS at the guy who threw his gloves down, the guy's smile fades, and Ian just walks through them like, "I'm Tsar, bitches." But seriously, he just has this bearing that even makes angry insurgents pause for a bit and think, wow, as pissed as I am, this man has the integrity of a ruler. Love Ian <3

  • And Thus did fall the Imperial Russian Family, who had for more then 300 years ruled the largest landmass country in the world.

    God Save the Tsar

  • Your video displays ridiculously difficult to read content; your introductory speech should expound earlier upon the reasons for your breakthrough news.

That said, it appears, too, that you, Stanford's Professor Knight et al may well have missed the mark entirely -- which, paradoxically, might, surprisingly, prove a boon for resurrection of eg. Anna Anderson's claim -- mainly ... CHIMERA; covering eg.Grand Duchess Elizabeth or Alexandra having more than two DNA profiles between em... et al: Get

  • @CarCriticAssessor ?????????????

  • this movie is actually making youtubers feel empathy for someone who in reality was a very bad man

  • @Bboiblack life is not so clear-cut, and history is always told through the eyes & prejudices of the "winners". remember, no matter the actions or inactions of great rulers, they are human; they feel pain and bleed just as you do. sane humans can feel empathy and realize that is not equivalent to condoning 'evil'; it is not a binary matter

  • @Bboiblack Do you really beleive that youtubers are ignorant people??. What a pity!!

  • @Bboiblack how did you come to that conclusion? Nicholas's Father surrounded him with ministers of right wing views. His Father favoured his brother George and gave Nicholas no training in political matters. Nicholas on the other hand was brought up to believe that being the Tsar (the Father of the people) was not only his duty but his destiny. He tried his hardest, but in the end he was unprepared and had terrible ministers. If you were thrown into leadership, believe you were destined

  • @Bboiblack to behave in a way that was contrary to the way of the people.. would you think yourself a bad person? He tried, and failed, but he tried and it was his ministers who were to blame. Self righteous and haughty ministers, as well as the likes of Rasputin to blame.. not him! Nicholas didn't know right from wrong, he was incompetent.. not bad.

  • motherless fuckwad revolutionaries! kill their children and wives, and make them watch! Then piss on the bodies!

  • i love it when the good guys win a crying pair of murderers, theres noting better to watch than an evil bastard cry

  • @bolloxfrollox you're a fucking troll. Revolutionaries are the good guys? Do I need to remind you just how many millions of people the Soviets are responsible for killing? How the USSR fucked up the world with their bullshit philosophy?

  • @Purplecatsoup30 evil is evil just because a piece of shit like stalin ruined it yes the cccp did many awful things but they beat the nazi's if we'r going to point out the good and bad id say that wins

  • By eastern standards, in which Russia is apart, a saint is one who lives life to the fullest, not one who tries to retreat from society in fear, as in the west. Saints are not born a saint as the west believes but one who is transformed by life's experience. A saint has achieved the likeness of God. Alexandr D"Maddalena Rasputin is a passionbearer.

  • @douglasmatley where are you getting your information from? The idea that 'saints are born saints' is not a western concept either. Try again.

  • @Purplecatsoup30 I was raised Roman Catholic and was taught that saints are born saints. This is very much a western concept. In the Orthodox East saints are not born. We are all created in the image of God, but the likeness of God, the Holiness of God has to be earned. The point for all Orthodox Christians is the earn this likeness bu overcoming our passions. We are all seeking defication. D. Alexandr D'Maddalena

  • @Purplecatsoup30 The West has Original Sin, which the Orthodox East does not have. In the West you are born with sin, and since saints are without sin, they are born saints. In the Orthodox East all are born innocent and we learn to sin from the society about us. Because of this innocence we are all capable for earning the Likeness, the Holiness of God, for the primary obstruction does not exist, Original sin. This concept is the primary tension between East and West. D. Alexandr D'Maddalena

  • Bolshevik scum...Russia was betrayed from the inside. When despite all losses the Russians were winning WWI,the revolutionaries started propaganda.Lenin came back in a train full of gold paid by the Germans.Stolypin was about to make reforms to help the Russian people and he was murdered.A band of evil masterminds controlled a groups of thugs who in turn brain-washed a lot of people to replace Russia with a communist dictatorship.

  • They dragged a nun, took her to a well in the woods, threw her in like so much rubbish, and then proceeded to shoot her while she was inside and throw a grenade. Lovely revolution and horrible thing to do.

  • Hungry russian dogs, like today..

  • I feel so bad for Alexia because to hear one parent cry is sad but when BOTH parents cry YOU know something's wrong. He was right for saying "were all going to die".

  • I feel sorry fof Nicholas and his family. So sad they had to die like this. I hate the communists.

  • @MrLindemann89 and what about the thousands that he had murdered?he had women and children shot for not wanting to starve to death for not wanting their fathers and brothers and sons to die in a pointless war fuck you

  • Nicholas was a weak tsar- he should've had the revolutionaries shot. What else could they possibly get angry at? And it would've atleast been an action! His lack of willingness to do anything at all... look where it got himself and his family!

  • I'm from Georgia, America and have never been to Russia, but I really doubt there is snow on the ground in July...

  • @StrangeShipper a good large piece of Russia is in the arctic, there is snow all year round

  • So many times the Russian history is paved bloodshed

From Imperial to Communist and then to Democracy

  • Wow, that's clever... pushing people in a pit and THEN shooting them. Then there's nothing to clean up.

  • And here the Dynasty ends

  • I very much doubt there would be snow on the ground in the middle of July as shown here. Even in Siberia.

  • This is what happens when the people pass their breaking point. It happened in France in 1789, in Haiti in 1791 in Russia in 1918.

  • @DelValle1980 this is what happens when people are sheeps! and they became cummonist shit !

  • @DelValle1980 Also America 2016

  • The Romanovs, like the Bourbons and the Stuarts were abysmally stupid. They would have had to give so little to retain so much.

  • The family was in Tobolsk already when the Winter Palace was stormed. This scene is totally false. They were then taken to Ekaterinberg for some time and then killed. Hollywood.

  • On July 17,1918 the Bolshevik secret police (Cheka) led by Yurovsky, who made an extensive report in the archives of the KGB,executed the Tsar & his family,3 servants and Dr. Botkin. There is a copy of the telegraph to the Ural soviet from Lenin ordering this, to prevent the rescue of the Tsar by the advancing White Russian army. The Masons did not have anything to do with this and the forensics of the bones do not show torture. These are verified facts. The Romanovs were canonised in 1998.

  • This is a kind of 'cover up' They were killed in satanic [freemasonic] ritual, tortured , mutilated and burned. Because international masonary was directly involved in this, they made this cover-up film blame on Rasputin and bolsheviks.

  • I agree, it made me smirk when I saw that there was snow at the Ipatiev house. The family's diaries in the days leading up to their murder discussed how warm the weather was.

  • The movie is just not the same without Alan.

  • In the shot of Ipatiev House, why is there snow all over the place ... when the caption says it's July?

  • Because it's in siberia

  • It doesn't snow in Ekaterinburg in July ...

  • then why does it say that at 4:19 ?

  • Ekaterinburg is in Siberia, I know that ... but there shouldn't be snow there in the middle of July.

There are photos of Nicholas taken while at Ipatiev house ... taken shortly before he and his family were killed ... there is no snow to be seen anywhere in those photos.

  • @budweiserchuck

In Ekaterenburge there is no snow in July.

  • The only country to suffer more than Russia in the 20th Century was China.

  • what happened to China? I know I may sound dumb, but in my defence, im only 14 and my hirtory teacher SUCK!

  • MAO killed between 70 and 77 million , the Japanese in WW II killed another 20 million and it's debatable but Chang Ki Sheck killed another 25 to 50 million. Unimaginable !

  • OMG that IS really unimaginable, I dont know what else to call it. 'Terrible' and 'horrible' just seem to weak to express it!

  • Stalin killed about 62.5 million also ! Hitler about 27 million.

  • @castillianwagon500 but Hitler caused the death of all others who died.. while Stalin killed for the name of victory...

i mean.. in Russia, Stalin is a hero till now, in Germany, Hitler is a pig....

  • @DrKillaser I am sorry but Stalin was the most evil man who ever walked the face of the Earth and as an American I an proud tremendously that my country , the US , destroyed everything he built ! May he burn in HELL !

  • @castillianwagon500

I couldn't agree with you more. Stalin was worse than Hitler.

  • @castillianwagon500 lmao the usa did destroy shit ya retard the soviet people tore down stalins legacy not ye typical retarded american i supose you think america defeated germany in ww2 as well dont you?

  • @DrKillaser Stalin is a hero? Stalin killed his own people! Replaced God in every home with a portrait of himself.

Stalin killed more of his own than Hitler ever did.

But in the end they were both cruel, power hungry leaders. The world is a better place without them.

  • I am 55 and have thought for over 35 years that the nations of UK , Russia ( formally the Soviet Union ) , China Germany and Japan have been in a tragic " dance of death " on the world stage for the last 100 years and only the US has escaped great harm. All these other nations have , by no fault of their own , been crushed. . In WW I , WW II and the Cold War (WW III) the US has come to the rescue. WW IV ? Probably with Islamic fascists in some form or another, that's developing now.

  • at least China's imperial family was not murdered...

  • Yes at least China's Emperor was not murdered.

  • If your teachers are anything like the ones in Britain and America, they are probably socialists or communists themselves...or, at least, those responsible for deciding what is to be taught as History are. So teaching you about the horrible things the Communists did would not follow their agenda. Among other things, China's Chairman Mao ordered students to torture their teachers to death, and ordered agricultural "reforms" that resulted in the starvation deaths of tens of millions.

  • in high school we at least still read 1984, other than that no i never learned about communism is grade school, but it was mostly unbiased, slightly to the left, but certainly my high school teachers were not socialist...however almost ever college IS COMMUNIST its a joke, i transferred from a state school (which is GOVT RUN) because EVERY philosophy/history/economics class was pro-communist, i couldnt believe it. the department had posters of the soviet union everywhere, can you say JEW anyone?

  • it must have been scary for the imperial family...if he could have given the russians the freedom to govern then he woud not have to worry about governing and he can focus he's attention to his family's problem.

  • alan rickman is far too sympathetic as rasputin and far too handsome too

  • It must have been terrible for Nicholas II, he never wanted to be Tsar, he just wanted to spend all his time with his family and be a happy man. No matter what mistakes he made as Tsar, he was still a human being just like the rest of the Russians and did not deserve the way in which his life ended, and nor did his wife and children.

  • Did the revelotion happen like this...did they invade the palce?

  • yeah, they went into palace and killed entire family

similar thing happened around same time in my country...

  • They went and captured the family, but didn't kill them until much later.

  • yes they invaded the palace

  • poor nicholas II...those damn dirty commies!

  • my god this story has so much gun in it and why must it be hiss family that killed him god that is sad

  • @anastasiagirl1342

I guess this is what happens when the common people are pushed to the ultimate limits of their endurance

    they must have suffered enough
