Since owning this Saxo I have owned a Golf GTi, BMW 320 and currently driving a brand new Mondeo Titanium X all have been fast car's and 2.0L's. I can honestly say the Saxo was the most fun to drive and defiantly the fastest. Not saying I'd swap back for it tho lol. . I'm not saying you should like theses cars all Im saying is every car has it's pro's and con's speed was never an issue with this one mate. Build quality maybe tho lol. :)

Its a small cheap family car from Citroen, i dont see how it could possibly be any less badass. The fastest u can even get is 89 fucking HP most grannies sporting more than that in thier diesels.

120HP big fucking woop its still a small lame little car for kids, putting a half decent amount of power in a tiny little box car doesnt make it cool. VTS and VTIs are for dumbasses with no sense of originality who just wanna put a big fart box exhaust on the back because they are desperate for attention.

@Level85HumanStoner Its a decent car for the price, it may not have a very high bhp figure, but its light weight makes it fast. If you get a standard version they are very reliable and nice to drive, you could pay thousands more for a car that doesnt perform as good as a VTR/VTS. Also, I'm not a chav at all and I love it.

All i ever see driving them are chavs trying to act cool as if a little tiny Citroen is somehow "badass" it makes me laugh especially when they cant keep up with my 5 door diesel.

I have a saxo vtr. I started up my car on a freezing cold morning. It was like minus 8. I fired it up and was running fine for like 6 7 seconds, then cut out. And now it will not crank over at all. Iv put new crank senser on, new starter motor, new radiator. I had a look at the timing belt and ther no thread on it. Iv bought a new timing belt just need to fit it on. I carnt afford buying parts on it anymore. Could this be the alternater? Or basically new engine?... HELP HELP HELP!!!

its just the standard bodykit with bumpers and trims colour coded as far as i can see from the pics the front grill has been replaced with a mesh grill but more or less the exterior looks standard

Sorry what i meant was the body kit on the vtr is standard but my vtr hasnt been modified with a different body kit or any other modifications its a factory standard Mk 2 VTR its also icelandic grey not blue like what i said in my last post

quick question, colour coding the trims........is it just a case of spraying them the same colour, or buying seperate trims???

how do you get them to look like a metal finnish, the trims are plastic r'nt they?

The VTR wheels are alloy. Wouldnt bother spraying plastic trims, probably will look a mess. You can get VTR wheels in white, silver black or a sandy colour, all done professionally. Cant remember the name of the site that does them. Dont bother with the gold ones though!
