ejdav - absolutely love this. One of my favourite pieces of music but this version is new to me. Thank you again for surprising and delighting. Hope you are well and enjoying life.
ferrante & teicher, i spoke with these wonderful folk's, and they reproduced a cd 'love is a soft touch' for me because i loved and found the # 8 ' is that all there is' song fitting for my wonderful age.
@ALLENCCTX1 Wonderful comment...I always like to hear when performers interact with people in the various ways they do, sometimes good, sometimes not, thank you.
Always did like this instrumental by F. & T. Would you believe that for the week of January 14, 1960 this record was number one here in OKC on our local top 40 radio station. Number two was Jimmy Jones' HANDY MAN. A few months before
they started charting nationally. Good Post.
Larry N. Boyington, aka Larry Neal, former curator of the Wax Museum on the big 1520 KOMA
@larrynealwaxmuseum I have always loved BOTH sides if this old 45, hard to believe it was ever number one any where, but I'm glad it was. I won a copy of "Handy Man" as the best male "beatnik" at a dance in the 60's!! How time flies!!...thank you for commenting.
