@drak3y This is the greatest sport ever..Asashoryu they say is the best ever..but people are saying the Yakuza had fixed matches so they could win more money through gambling??..I wonder if this is true? he lost to later yokozunas but was one of the greatest for sure..who else is considered the best?..but can you grab the upper thigh ?
@drak3y This guys are fast and skilled..people think that u have to be fat..its not true.I dont want to say anymore about the Yakuza..they might open my front door and 10 sumos are charging at me..LOL
I'm starting to like sumo, but there are things I don't know. Can somebody explain me?
I know the rules of the combat, but I don't know how many times a fighter can lose in a night, or if there are sets of fights or something about the ritual before the fight, etc.
Hey where can I watch these matches I have dish network but nothing any other company put this on and what the hell does the ref say when they are already fighting
@omarsolis1986 "Hakke-yoi!! Hakke-yoi!!" Roughly translates to "keep it moving" or "Go! Go!" . He also says "Nokkata" (could be phoneticizing that wrong) which means "You're still good!" or "You're still in the fight!". You'll hear that a lot when they're at the edge.
I love Ase, but I miss the days where you had 3+ Yokozuna at a time (Akebona, Takanohana, Wakanohana, Musashimaru days).
Thank you very much for posting.
