@cbyrd211 here is the quote I first met Aaliyah about five years ago in the studio, and I was really imprssed with her singing. She could go where the Whitneys went. She wailed on that single I wrote for her. I write songs that challenge singers, and she rose to the occasion. She worked her ass on that vocal. She wouldn't leave until she got it right. She was a great interpreter of songs, one of the best, and I'm sad that I won't be able to work with her again

I can sing lower than most of them cause I'm a true Mid-range Alto who has a very low register but not quite contralto
