please answer this for me. how do you get your toms to sound so great. they don't have a lot of resonance, and they sound perfect in tone. how do u do it?
Honestly I have tried many combinations of leather, even Emperaire as resonant, and much more must train the ear for tuning. I still think that now I experiment constantly. However in the video if I remember were flying Ambassador resonant and pinstripe.
The resonant I put a piece of tape to stop the harmonics ....
@cyphus58 thank you for responding, i try using moon gel pads, but still the drums have a bad overtone and a bad resonance. i think i might try getting double ply heads. but i just wanted your advice, so thank you
