Its absolutely amazing to see so many fantastically restored examples. But at the same time I'm getting angry and frustrated. Because with all these patently evident restoration and engineering skills being exhibited, as a country we still suffer from a declining engineering base (Triumph excepted of course). I just can't put my finger on the reasons for this. Discuss.
Glad to see so many pre-units there. I bought a T110 in '60 being told that it was a nine month wait for the Bonney, on the way down to Brands on my brand new black and ivory bike at every set of lights, I was surrounded by two tone blue BONNIES. Was I gutted. Dave
@trident1994 HI thanks for the compliment, we were very disappointed overall with the coverage anywhere on the Celebrations. Which T140's were yours? Did you spot them on my video?
@TheOrientalBlue Hi your welcome,as you quite rightly state,i to was disappointed with the coverage, making your video the best i've seen, spotted them only just(back-end's),a 1981 U.S. T140 Royal Wedding,& 1982 TSX,with my back (yellow T-shirt)against your len's approx 3.53/3.54 into the video,as i was still waiting for the fiasco dated line-up to be finalised,a pic of each of them where shown in Classic Bike Guide & Classic Bike last year also sparsely coverd for such an iconic/important event
Thanks for sharing this - I couldn't quite get mine fixed in time. Back on the road at 4pm that day. Hope I dont have to wait another 50 years for the next celebration
Excellent video of a great display although you missed the central portion of Bonnies including mine !

A fine collection of the world's most iconic motorcycle. May it be around for another 50 years.
