it's a "musical instrument".. non is built for only a single musical purpose or musical feel..it could be played happily or sad.. it's the player's fault.

well the only thing he could hav done there was put it in a lower key then, but i think it gets any lower then that. and it seems all ur listening to is the melody. pianos can't whisper to make things seem darker. pianos can't scream to emphasize the pain. When a piano does vocals, all it can do are the notes.

yes, the piano does the notes. but it's up to the pianist or even his audiences to comprehend to whether or whether not it is dark or happy..

of course they can't make it darker themselves, coz the people here is the sensor which creates it in their minds.

well different people hav different interpretations of things, altho i agree it;s a bit too happy, but that's not his fault. I guess sum things sound better on instuments fo the same type but ur missing MY point. There are many ways to make make he vocals dark with a VOICE, but not as many with a piano. like i said, lower key would be the main option imho. But (sors, typo there) i DONT think it gets any lower than that.

besides, cemetery drive isn't very good song choice for piano because the song is ruled by the drum rhythms, which are really hard to duplicate on piano. unfortunately, he/she tried to duplicate it instead of compoisng a new bass line that would harmonize with the vocal melody better.
