they both are good but i like the d/p's sound q / spl combo plus takes power nice ... im a fan of clean music ... even on my 30 k setup its clean no sloppy bass ...
Like other people I've noticed the minimal excursions on your subs this is a result of...good tuning or proper enclosure size ? excursion is reduced when you have proper phase delay ? not to much related to power at some point I assume as long as your not clipping the signal / amp you can run more power to subs without the risk of damage as long as you stay within speakers exc. limits. Thanx 4 your help Iam still trying to understand as much as I can
When you install speakers in a enclosure like that what do you gain...does it create a bandpass design if these are put in a trunk...does back of the driver use car as enclosure, do you tune this design any differntly than you would normally.
they will have a lil more air space this way ... remember sub displacement .. is subtracted ... its not that much different so its all good ... thanx 4 your help

I'm surprise you didn't get a 40.1 or another 5K or bigger amp. I just don't trust those stetsoms. Being that small scares me with 12L
