I bear witness that there is no God but Allah (swt) and Muhammad (saaws) is his servant and messenger.
I made the above statement in may of last year since than Allah has bestowed upon me his baraka & mercy, to my former christian/catholic brothers, embrace islam for your salvation.
Peace, love & blessings upon the holy prophet, his family, companions & all who read this who have surrendered to their creator.
I would rather believe Jesus calling himself God, then what someone else may have said. Jesus never asks anyone to worship him, Jesus tells everyone that 'thy lord is One' and the God in heaven is Greater than ALL And you can find the commandments in the Quran as well. Remember it is just a continuation of the same message. God can simply forgive us by asking him for forgiveness sincerely.
1. New Testament is very well documentated (it is claimed there are about 8,000 manuscripts in a few languages up to Muhammad's time). Some of the documentation is dated on 1st century of CE. All that claims that NT is, generally, not contradicted or falsified.
2. New Testament is rooted in the Old Testament (Jewish Books). There, in OT, are over 300 prophecies, sometimes very detailed, about the Messiah which fulfilled in Jesus Christ and no one other.
3. The Bible claims Jesus died on the cross to save people from sins and turn them to God. IF YOU FOLLOW JESUS Christ, YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN. If not you will be judged and punished for your sins.
4. Bible claims if someone claims 'Jesus isn't Lord', cannot be from God (1Corinth 12.3, 1John 4.2-3 etc)
5. JESUS Christ LOVES PEOPLE passionately. It is why He prefered to die to save you.
every human being is responsible for his own doings....no other person should have to sacrifice his life for the sins of others........ also remember that it is in the hands of the almighty god if he wants to forgive the person for his sins....
@sylweg if jesus already died for your sins and those who believe in him why does he need to come back again to save the world. he would need to just wait in heaven and accept those who believe in him?
If I am christian and saved by the blood of jesus, I would kill myself today to go meet him, why stay on this stinky planet paying taxes and working like a slave, when I can go hang out with jesus in heaven. remember even if you kill yourself it is no longer a sin for you since you are saved.
sylweg, the Quranic Haman is actually consistent with the historical Haman that we find recently from ancient Egyptian writings. Quite the contrary of what you claim. Read the Quran more sincerely, instead of looking for mistakes and you will see the truth.
I'm not able to verify/falsify the story of quranic Haman. Besides scientists have often opposite opinions. However, it is not the issue.
The more important issue, I think, is: are Bible and Quran revealed from the same God who revealed to Abraham and Jewish prophets? Because the both books include claims opposite to each other [God shouldn't be contradicted].
Bible claims if someone claims 'Jesus isn't Lord', cannot be from God (1Corinth 12.3, 1John 4.2-3 etc).
Sure if by Lord, you mean master, teacher, that is acceptable from the Quran, but Jesus never calls himself God in the Bible and the Quran elevates Jesus to a might messenger just as he is in the Bible. And yes I agree Jesus is the Messiah.
1. Jews' religious tabu was everytime when they meant God's name they told 'Lord'. So here (1Corinth 12.3) Lord means God. Jew, Thomas the Apostle, claimed about Jesus: 'My Lord and my God' (John 20.28-29). For him 'God' and 'Lord' meant the same.
2. John the Apostle claims: 'The Word [Jesus] was God' (John 1.1, comparise Revelation 19.13). When Thomas the Apostle claims about Jesus: 'My Lord and my God', Jesus replied: 'Because you have seen me, you have believed' (John 20.28-29). It would be strange that Jesus didn't want to deny if weren't God.
3. Prophet Isaiah claims that the Messiah [Jesus] will be called Mighty God (Isaiah 9.5-7).
1. New Testament is very well documentated (it is claimed there are about 8,000 manuscripts in a few languages up to Muhammad's time). Some of the documentation is dated on 1st century of CE. All that claims that NT is, generally, not contradicted or falsified.

Bro, i do follow Jesus. Jesus says in the Bible Thy Lord is One, and I believe that and worship the One God. Jesus dying for a sinners does not make any sense logically. It is injustice to kill the most innocent person for sinners. God cannot be unjust.
Arabic Quran=من غير دينه منكم فأقتلوهif a muslem,s converted kill him atonce+عذبوهم يعذبهم الله بأيديكم u should torture, hummilate nonmuslems under auspices of Allahفَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ kill all nonmuslems worldwide, wellcom to mankind holocaust ,indeed islam,s peace!!!!
Thats called a paradox. Plus, its not certain which Egyptian king Pharaoh was. If it was Ramses II, like most people think, he would have lived around 1200 BC. Plus, how do u even know when Haman lived? He supposedly was the Viser of Pharoh and would haved lived during Pharoh's time. Plus, I looked for Al-Kasas and did not find him anywhere, including the Quran. Before you come up with wild tales to trash the Quran, I suggest you take a look at the Quran and compare it with Western books.
I propose you to read Quran more patiently and critically. Haman is mentioned 3 times in surah 28. The verse 28.38 states clearly that pharaoh commanded Haman to make fire and a tower.
However Quran states that the historical nonsense is truth. Haman was very well known by Jews because he was a vezier of Persian king (5th century BC) and he forced Persian king to kill all Jews in the empire (Esther 3.8-15).
But whatever you think JESUS LOVES YOU and is SAVIOR. Only repent
I must tell you this, though. Your own comment contradicts itself in this way:
''Why do they not study the Quran carefully? If it were from other than GOD, they would have found in it numerous contradictions.'' However, there in Quran ARE numerous contradictions","So Quran IS NOT from God."
From that, u are assuming that the Quran is true and coming to the conclusion that its false. But if the quran is false, you're comment is a lie because u were assuming that the quran is true.
'according to Old Testament tradition, was a 5th Century BC Persian noble and vizier of the empire under Persian King Ahasuerus [named Artaxerxes II]' (from wikipedia) but in the Quran he lives with Moses (14th century BC).
Jews had to know Haman very well because he forced Persian king to kill all Jews in the empire (Esther 3.8-15). So, I consider this biblical statement as more trueful than quranic statement.
welcome dear Muslims. Please explain my theological question. The Quran states:
[4:82] ''Why do they not study the Quran carefully? If it were from other than GOD, they would have found in it numerous contradictions.'' However, there in Quran ARE numerous contradictions, eg. completely unhistorical Al-Kasas (surah 28), mixing in one time a few persons scattered in time of some centuries (eg. pharaoh lived 14c BC, but Haman 4c BC - 10centuries of difference) ETC. So Quran IS NOT from God.
I see you have questions about islam it is really good that your asking but i would advice you to ask people who have a lot of knowledge about islam e.g. scholars, sheikhs etc of islam to get proper answers. If you would like to please message me i'll give some contacts.

God can't be unjust so He will judge and punish people for their sins.
Do you know God's law? It's TEN COMMANDMENTS. Do not lie, do not commit adultery, do not steal, etc (Exodus 20.2-17).
If you do any sin you would be punished with eternal separating from God.
However, Jesus paid ransom for you diing on the cross. It happened because Jesus was sinless and LOVES YOU passionately.
Now you need only to repent to God in the name of Jesus (eg. John 20.31 etc).
