@chrysanthos66 You can. If you go to subsim.com you can download surface ship mods and play using them. Not perfect but very fun. I used a heavy cruiser to do some of the missions and even got a playable Yamato battleship which you can see me using in one of my uploaded videos.

@LosEagle if you have copies of games that need a cd key to play online then you can only play if you have a cd key and nobody else is using it online at the same time as you or it will not work it will say that the key is already in use.

i dont know about lan. cd keys are usally found on the cover of the games manual inside the box.

Did you buy it new? The CD key was on the inside of a paper insert that was in the cd case.

I haven't played online either. This video is of a LAN match. Make sure both PC's are running the exact same version of the game or it won't work. I just used a crossover cable straight from one PC to the other.

@warax112 well if you try to play in LAN ( LOCAL access network ( i guess its that lol )) its sure youll dont see any server up, you have to be in internet ( have an account and get online

We did try to blast each other with the deck guns but the subs seem to be indestructible. Shame.

You are correct they are not, but it takes some serious battering to destroy another player's sub. They seem to have the armour of a light cruiser which I can only assume was intended to make gameplay last longer. We ran out of rounds before anyone was sunk.

subs really are unsinkable ubisoft made them like that If they are surfaced they cant be sunk I have tried that In made a map 30 TORPEDO PLANES at me and 2 yamatos from both side couldnt sink me
