Althouth the GBP is worth more per dollar, there are a shite load more dollars on the planet afaik. The World also banks with dollar - internationally sought after currency! Price of a barrel of oil is internationally measured in dollars.
Cool to actually see those fibers! They embed "security fibers" into the cloth-like paper money; basically impossible to replicate. Also, not sure about the British notes but the ink on American notes are magnetic.
yes the ink on the American bills are magnetic. There an experiment where if you grinned up a dolor the dumped the shredded bill into a glass of water the ink would sink to the bottom. Then you could get a magnet and get all the ink. It's quite cool.

also, for Canadian bills, you can still make the queen frown and make a but picture if you fold them the right way. not sure how, but it's possible.
and i thought the Pound was worth more then the doller (either US or Canadian) so how can it be the most powerful?
