agreed, you are doing well for a beginner at stepmania, but may i suggest even using a different key set rather than the arrows, i always found them a bit cramped and requiring finger acrobatics

at my school there was this guy with freakishly huge hands who got perfect in stepmania almost every time

a bunch of people crowded around him and started chanting his name, and then the teacher sent him to the office cuz she thought he was in a fight rofl

Wel i use to be excellent on standard but i haven't played for a while so i am a bit sluggish on it.

I'm guessing your a beginner at stepmania and your doing well for a beginner keep practicing. I recommend doing harder types of lvls even if you dont pass them, you can learn about over-lapping notes.
