god imagine the adrenaline you'd get being in the SAS. plus you would know you are one of the best soldiers in the world! Utmost respect to those people in the SAS
@markusruhl79 Look up "Surviving the Cut" on youtube. It's awesome. They show Navy SEALs, Rangers, USAF PJ's, Recon Marines, Marine Sniper, Army sniper, SWCC. The list goes on.
There is also a show called "Two Weeks in Hell" which is the 2 week selection course for the Green Berets.
@bertiellison This is just a selection course for a 2 year training program. The SAS selection course is around a month and the training is over 2 years.
@BushcraftMatt i think it is about 60 pounds and they carry a 20lb belt as well and with a rifle weighing quite a bit they are probably close to giving themselves piggybacks...
@BushcraftMatt Depends on what part of the course they're going through. It starts out at roughly 35 pounds or something, and then they work their way up to 55 or 60. Plus webbing, belt kit, water and their weapon.
these civies had it easy.

@BushcraftMatt According to Andy McNab, they carried 200lbs during Bravo Two Zero. Dunno how much they're carrying in this, though
