Peter Carpenter doing the "I could have been a contender" Brando speech. I saw this as the double bill at the Drive-In. We couldn't believe how wonderfully bad it was. A must. KABC here in Los Angeles use to run a version of this late at night. A tight edited version that plays better than the VHS version.
I love checkin' out horror tv spot from 1970-1974 when they get posted. Whoever has the "Dear Dead Delilah" 1972 tv ad,can sum1 please post it on asap?
Who in the name of fuck takes the time to point out that a drive in style movie is trite? Hey Cliff, the sky is blue, water is wet., and your first class fuckin retard, but, I'm sure we all knew that as soon as we read your comment. I'll bet you're a postal worker. They're always so confused.
This movie is so trite. I first saw it at the Drive-In movie on a double bill with CARRIE. In the 80's KABC here in Los Angeles used to run a scaled down print of this movie all the time on late night TV. It was actually better than the theatrical film which had too much padding. POINT OF TERROR is the ultimate train wreck movie. Carpenter was pushing himself as the next TOM JONES, but you can't help being embarrassed for him. His acting and dancing is that bad.
My favorite thing about this is he says "The dark side of fear..." as opposed to what? The pleasant, happy go lucky fuzzy bunny side of fear?
