@AlienBusDriver - A good friend of mine has a son with "Down's Syndrome". He's a fairly bright kid with some musical abilities. He was a good Boy Scout and almost made Eagle Scout. He's got a great sense of humour and is a very loving and honest young man. If you knew him I doubt you would actually want to kill him, unless your a psychopath. Actually a psychopath or sociopath that would willfully kill this fine boy should be the one put in the gas chamber. What if he was YOUR son?

The pics at the end really show the good side of Auschwitz, the place that could be fun to be employed at.
I would rather have been a drunk in Nazi Germany and ended up in Auschwitz with a job making shoes or whatever.
The inmates had a swimming pool, a playhouse and soccer games for their days off. They also had top notch medical care!
That would be a hell of a lot better than freezing on the Eastern Front!
You can see some of the guards are really nice and funny too!

The German is a very difficult thing to understand. How a highly cultured, sophiticated, and technologicly advanced Western society can sink into barbarity unknown to the civilised world is a question that deserves an inquiry into ourselves, rather than scorn. If this kind of mob savagery can happen there.....it can happen to us if we allow the societal conditions to allow it. Democracy can have dangerous teeth.....Hitler was legally elected by a legitimate democratic referendum.
