Actually, I don't think it matters at all if you delete or not your savegames, does it? It's just the route you pick what determines where you're gonna end... (I may be wrong, it's just that it hasn't ever happened to me, I've re-started the game several times, and I always end up in fresh fish, 'cuz THAT was exactly my route...

Yeah I know. This is a really old video. I had since discovered that the only thing that defines your starting point is which quadrant of town you escape to. If you always escape to the northeast quadrant (e.g. either the dock or the north bridge) you start at Fresh Fish with Carbonell.

If I recall correctly, the commentary in this video was dubbed in afterwards rather than done live while playing the game, so yeah there is a big difference. And congrats on making your first video with voice over!

I heard that you can start in the Lumber camp with purefoy, the cock-fights arena with Kankaras, or the slaughterhouse with quiepo, depending on where you fall in Pala. I had made it all around town in the beginning of the game, and when I passed out, i ended up in fresh fish. I dont get it.

i played easy mode and escaped the town but somehow the game offered me an Flamethrower. i guess you only get it on Normal or higher modes?

No it depends on which route you take to escape town. If you escape to the east or the northeast, you'll always get the rocket launcher.

I know this seems like a really daft question to ask but what do you press to get the monoculer to come up on screen during gameplay? It doesn't show up on the controls config. and I've tried every single key on my keyboard, every button on my mouse and nothing. It's a mystery to me.

hey man just wonderin if ya play this game in DX9 or DX10. in DX10 i get this horrid microstuttering but in DX9 it goes away, quality is mostly the same, but my frames drop by like 10% in DX9 =( damn directx and frame rates. just wonderin if you or anyone watchin this has figured out a fix for this issue without having to lock my framerate with the whole gfx_maxfps 30 thing. oh well i guess its no big deal, i get very playable framerates on both settings.

Try doing ALL the missions.

Do all the buddy missions.

Do all the weapon shop missions and get ALL the weapons.

Lots of things you could do. Just get in there and mess around and use your imagination. :o)

Yes that's right. I like to have my left hand in the official typing position. I find it more natural and a lot easier. Also if you have to go off the keyboard, you can get repositioned again without having to look because most keyboards have a little bump on the F.
