  • I really want to visit Korea !

  • great we gonna make one like this here in Brazil

  • nice video !

    I enjoyed

  • @greentech21 Thanks!

  • P를 그리고 그곳의 모든 물고기 및 희귀 조류를 참조하십시오 : 나는 뗏목에 거기 가고 싶어요!

  • @DrDuckyy ;-)

  • Do they have any organised runs along the river? Looks like a great place to run along.

  • @TravInThailand Not that I'm aware of... but that would be cool!

  • isn't that where that lady from your music video filmed? it looks really cool!

I remember seeing it in a video by SUper Junior, but neverknew that it was as pretty as that!

  • @StarAWings Yup, part of I'm in Korea was filmed here!

  • I'll totally do this! how long does it take to talk until part 5?

  • @5661Cho It depends... You're looking at walking 11km or over 6 miles.

  • Even in a "green city" like Vancouver, BC, I think this is amazing. We do have lots of green, but not so wonderfully integrated into the city.

  • @destructicon500 Maybe in the future things will change!

  • Interesting... I never knew that something like that existed, let alone what it was called :)

  • @fehquig It's an amazing little place. Hope you make it out here one day!

  • Looks like a great peaceful place to visit - wonderful place to visit and so interesting

  • @Jordmate It's one of my favorites in all of Korea. Such a great place to come and visit.

  • What a beautiful waterway!

  • @Illuminatta Thanks! It's beautiful!

  • Back in 2004, when I was still in Korea, I remember seeing the ad about how they are going to renovate entire 청계천. I thought it was so amazing and couldn't wait to see it with my own eyes. Hopefully it is as beautiful as it is when I get to go back ;] always love and appreciate your fascinating videos, Qiranger. They are keeping my Korean hometown memories and feelings alive. Keep them coming!

  • @ryusm92 ;-) Glad I was able to show you a little of it now!

  • Looks like a great place to just rest and relax. Thanks for the tour. Looking forward to seeing more of Seoul.

  • @chantingmom Thanks! It's such an amazing city!

  • 좋아요:)

  • @nikmaxive 감사합니다!

  • 좋아요 :)

  • Really nice shoot.

  • @TheFaustianMan Thank you my friend!

  • Looks like a great walk mate, hope you show us stage 5 some time : )

  • @MicknFumi I'll probably head back there again... and soon. Zone Five is Seoul Forest. Here's the video I did there for you to watch until I get there again:

    8p_SypkGL44

  • @qiranger Oh ok, yeah I watched that one. I didn't comment, coz as you said in the end, its more of a park than how I would describe a forest. We have old growth forests 90 minutes away that you might have seen on your trip to South West West Oz. The forests along Caves Road Margaret River region are pretty special ; )

  • Never knew about the Cheonggyecheon, looks so peaceful. Great shot of the "no bikes" sign and the couple riding right over them. Lovely vid, looking forward to the next.

  • Great video steve!

Another remarkable guide to Seoul traverlers.

  • @bitlife70 Thanks so much for the comment!

  • Ah! Such lovely scenery!!! :D!!! Thanks for another excellent vid!!! ^^

  • @MANNY100123 Thanks for such an amazing comment and for watching!

  • I really like the greens on the river walk. Something that you don't see often.

That is a quite a beautiful walk. Thanks for taking us along as always.

  • @phampants It's one of the reasons I love Korea so much. They have done wonders planning the city!

  • I like how you pronunce Cheonggyecheon. Like a choo choo train. =)

  • @ozzy78 ;-) Trying to do my best with my poor Korean skills.

  • Love the area :)

  • @aachannet Thanks for watching!

  • Another great vid.

  • @RainyDarkForest Thanks!

  • I am korean, and I am learning more about korea from you...weird..but your videos are definitely interesting and educational at the same time. Thanks for sharing.

  • @dufrhd5 Thanks for your amazing comment! I love Korea and hope I can share this amazing country with the world!

  • I like, I'm commenting and I subscribed...

  • @TyYann ;-)

  • Nice to have that in the middle of the city!

  • @LaJYankee That is right!!!!!

  • Great video, Steve!

I hope to see it myself one day.

  • @drunkenmasterFTW I hope so as well!

  • No image of the king... very interesting. Just like in some cultures you can't say God's name

  • @MGSGeneral Yup!

  • nice man!

  • @APOKALYPSE34 Thanks, my friend!

  • omg when i visited this place at night it was FILLED with couples! so adorable to see :) i absolutely love every single one of your videos! thank you for doing one on one of my favourite places in seoul!

  • @nanunkimm Yup! The place is awesome for couples, especially in Zone 3 with the Love Bridge!

  • Very cool!

  • @thewhisperingraven Thanks!

  • I'm guessing you filmed this three weeks ago? =P

  • @p00lman Nope... This past Sunday.

  • @qiranger Ahhh, didn't realize it was that breezy (and I was out that day).

  • Awesome work Steve and Jo

  • @MageThief Thanks!

  • One of my favorite places in Seoul. Thanks for the detailed description. I've never walked the entire stream, but I plan to one day.

  • @GreenEggsAndHamster It's a great little walk!

  • If I lived in Asia I would get sick of the lack of diversity...

  • @Aggiesgigem I live in Korea, and yeah I miss diversity! It gets old when any foreigner walks around because everyone just stares at you because you don't look like everyone else.

  • Thank you for a great walk and I hope to give it a try someday.

  • @cmb17 hope you do!

  • @qiranger

I see what you mean about the elders covering their skin from head to toe @1:02

    how long is this 'trail'?

  • @RobotChick1000 Just about 11km in length.

  • @qiranger

I see what you mean about the elders covering their skin from head to toe @1:02

  • i like to walk there at nite and i love the areas with the realxing blue lights nice vid. mate!

  • @loganaustralia night time is awesome!

  • Awesome vid. I always liked it there. one of the best places in seoul. Thanks for allowing me to see the place through your videos again.

  • @waterflowzz You are welcome!

  • That place looks cool. I take it that the Cheonggyecheon is a natural stream. It almost looks man-made. Seoul like many great cities is a river city from what I have read. If the Josen royals could not be depicted in art I guess they could walk the streets incognito, and nobody could be the wiser.

  • @MrRichM1978 It originally was a stream, but it was eventually covered up by a highway. Just in the past decade they have restored it, but it was dry, so this water has been brought in from the main river.

  • @MrRichM1978 Only a little water comes from the headspring. Most of it is reclaimed water. But nice, none-the-less.

  • Wow the place looks so clean and pure considering it's in a city.

  • @SuperSkyheart2 They do a great job keeping it that way.

  • there certainly some lovely placers in Seoul to visit

  • @wufwufwufwuf Absolutely!

  • What an amazing way to transform part of an urban landscape to a pleasant place to be. Excellent video.

  • @jrsnyderjr Yup! I wish more places would spend the necessary cash to do something like this!

  • @qiranger It would have been nice if we had spent the money making the canal system bike and pathways of unique beauty instead of the light rail...

  • Steve you are indeed a information center on legs

  • @JHillLife Thanks!

  • I now wish to walk the Chonggyecheon its like a museum with a river in the middle :D

  • @JHillLife That it is!

  • Another great video! All I remember from my childhood of Seoul was how grey and grimey the cityscape was except for the little parks and mountains surrounding the city.

  • @ajussiwannabe Yeah, they've done a great job adding some green in!

  • This is easily one of my favorite spots in Seoul. The whole story of it is super cool. Great vid, man!

  • @EvannRachel Thanks! Glad you liked this one!

  • I clicked the link and learned lots! Thanks for sharing!

  • @syn7000 Thank you for reading and watching!

  • OHH, I REMEMBER THIS PLACE. I WAS THERE ABOUT A YEAR AGO! I'm going to Korea again after I graduate high school. man i want to go to Korea again!

  • @slakker321 Come on back!

  • Great video as always :) This place looks beautiful

  • @Artemisth Thanks! It's one of my favorite places.
