incredible scene... Extremely beautiful. All that a friendship contains; a bit of unforbidden, unsaid crush, playful trust and loyal encouragement. Support, the strong "I'm here, always".
I wish I had a guy friend like that. One that knows me better than anyone else in the world, but I never have to worry that he has any hidden agendas.
this scene is amazing! More amazing because if you've watched these films back to back and read all the books you can watch this confidently knowing there will be no romance in this what so ever. It's just two best friends comforting each other through hard times... it is so sweet!! :D !!
I absolutely LOVE this scene! It's really fun and added an extra layer tthat I think was needed in the film! I love the song. I like the quirky dancing only thing is that it makes me sad to see Hermione and Harry all grown up this way, so close to the end :( love Daniel and Emma!
OMG seriously! Would people just stop complaining about this scene because it 'wasn't in the book.' The films don't have to show EXACTLY what happned in the book! If you don't like it, don't bother watching it, don't bother commenting and don;'t ruin this scene for the people who love it with your hate comments!
This scene may be an add on, but it works brilliantly. Harry has relied on Hermione for much over the years as she is the smartest and most powerful member of their group. At her time of need Harry returns the favor by allowing her to enjoy life again, if only for just a moment.
i LOVE this scene, i read the books too and know this isn't on the book, but i love that they added this, with all the sadness and darkness that is going around at that moment, is nice to have a moment when they are just friends having fun like old times. It doesn't neceseraly have to be JUST like the book, if you don't like the movies just stick to de books, me particuraly i love both and i love this scene

When I saw this in the cinema, I just wanted to laugh - it is just so bad. Seriously - they start dancing? There was no reason why not to stay true to the book in this case. This scene was, bad, unfitting, useless and boring. When I think about the film now, this scene ruins it a bit.
This is by far my favourite scene in the movie ..It shows not only the close friendship that harry and Hermione have built up over the years it also shows that even when we are feeling down our best friends can always make us smile, in this scene you can practically see the friendship between the two..it was very well acted out ...The harry potter series has had an impact on so many peoples lives and i will be sad to see them end... JKR and all the actors/producers have done a remarkable job :)
okay, my problem with this scene is NOT the cute little dancing between FRIENDS (I can't stress this enough). my problem with this scene is the music, okay yes its talking about trains and kids, BUT the music itself....try this everyone who is reading this watch the scene then at 0:53 close your eyes and try and picture what kind of rhythm the music gives and they are alone in a dark room...I don't think I have a particularly dirty mind but CMON! I cannot be the only one who was thinking this?!
my favorite part of movie! Emma Watson iz jus 2 cute in this part. her smiles, her sad faces. i think i luv the sad faces the best. and i dont even listen 2 country music like that but i like the song 2. everything fits. even the dorky dance they doin jus makes her look that much cuter! harry should have hopped on that a long time ago.
Even though I don't ship these two as a couple, just soulmates (someone who you are drawn to because they are very much like you), I LOVE this scene. Man I wish I had seen it in theaters. And I'll admit, it almost makes me wish that these two had gotten together. I was sad when she pulled away like that.
This whole scene, the natural feeling of it and everything, is the epitome of what it feels like to fall in love. It really took me back to when I fell in love...
But seriously guys, why does this have to turn into a shipping war? I ship Hermione and Ron and this is my favorite scene from the movie...possibly out of all the movies combined. It's genuine and pure, so just shut up and enjoy the fluff xD
@FSUtheatre Dan Radcliffe in in Singapore for his studies this time ((: Got another 15-year old British actor Patrick Hurd-wood replacing him as Harry Potter
WHen me and my friend watched the movie for the first time, we had already cried through the whole movie but when this came, we were laughing, screaming, crying, dying a little because THIS is true friendship! <3
I was wondering Yates like the pairing Harry/Hermione doesn't he? yes Harry and Hermione and friend good friend. But that it is rubbish in the book. jk wrote Harry didn't know what to do:p
I was speechless when I saw this in the movies.. it made my imagination spinning and I love when scenes does that! I've only had that once before, when Bella/Jacob is in the car and almost kiss in New Moon. I AM NOT comparing these two different books - I'm only saying that those are two strong, beautiful scenes...
I know they ended up as best friends, but for me, this scene alludes to something that once was. And maybe some lingering feelings/regrets as to what could have been.
this is the most awkwardest scene in the whole movie i really wish they didnt put this scene in. i cant believe they didnt put in as many ron and hermione parts and they didnt put actual scenes from the book?? but they put this in?? they didnt put the part where harry said he loves hermione as a friend!! a FRIEND!
I think...My ovaries exploded when I watched this.
It's not that I don't love the Harry and Ginny pairing, JK Rowling did a brilliant job writing their relationship. But Daniel and Emma have quite a bit of on screen chemistry, and also, I still think of Ginny as the little girl Harry rescued from the Chamber of Secrets....Not his love interest.
This scene is sweet, but I think it's a scene of FRIENDSHIP, it isn't meant to have a romantic connotation, it's made to show how much strong is the friendship between Harry and Herm, with him trying to soothe her sadness by making her dance and have a little fun in these stifling situation ( I'm not a fan of one couple in particular, that's just the way I saw this scene!)
@CJTJ07 me too :) this scene portrays how close they are as friends and it doesn't feel romantic at all, just full of love. (if that makes sense) they have a perfect friendship, i think.
Aww, I loved this scene. Not even as a romantic scene, since, well, I'm a big Hermione/Ron fan - but I thought this scene showed Harry trying to cheer up his best friend with some sweet, admittedly dorky dancing. Two young people going through hell who adore each other (as best friends/siblings) - does it even need romance? It's perfect as-is.
@ryttu3k I agree completely. My heart was melted in the theatres as I watched this. It was the ultimate symbolization of their great friendship. They truly are like siblings :)
This seen is gawjus!! It brins tears to my eye's ... Hermione, just like about to burst into tears and then she starts smiling for a while because Harry starts up a dance ... gawjus!!
the horcrux (as it did to Ron) just enhances negatives feelings and energy, and that's one of the reasons he took it off of her. not to make a move or be flirty or anything like a lot of people think. Harry clearly loves Ginny and Hermione clearly loves Ron. they're just friends and he's trying to cheer her up about Ron leaving. taking it off will help her feel a bit better while she tries to smile and brighten up. that's all. everyone calm down, haha.
Is it only me who sees the possibility of Harry being a little bit in love with Hermione? I can't deny it when I see how he looks at her... When he takes off her bracelet and gives her his hand as an invitation for a dance. Both of those things made me see that he might be crushing on her just a little bit. I don't know, what do you guys think?
@ericabandler Yeah, actually,i agree with you .I love H/H relation ship ! David Yates said that this scene was here for show that Hermione have probably feelings for Harry but she still love Ron ^^ Anyway,I Love H/H !!! more than H/R
@anou8 Oh really? Well, I think we see more of Harry's feelings towards Hermione in this scene, but I'm glad that the director finally gives in a little and admits that they have undenial feelings for each other!
incredible scene... Extremely beautiful. All that a friendship contains; a bit of unforbidden, unsaid crush, playful trust and loyal encouragement. Support, the strong "I'm here, always".

the horcrux (as it did to Ron) just enhances negatives feelings and energy, and that's one of the reasons he took it off of her. not to make a move or be flirty or anything like a lot of people think.
