You can't Ignore the point, that Johnny Ive is one of the Best Designers in the world, and he's biggest works of art like the G4 iMac, G4 Cube and PowerMac G4 Quicksilver. Some one answered to one of my comments here, and I just realized something when reading our old "conversation", I realized that u didn't even know that the "laptop on the right" (as u said), was a sony, one of the best laptop producers in the world, which produces cameras, mp3, TVs... almost every high end electronics. I may sound like a child, but I am a dentist, which I think is a respectable enough job, but I still love games, every single new great game, and games r played on a PC, with a great graphic card, a great processor, and all the rest, so for me to stay up to date in games, and demanding programs, I HAVE to change my PC every 3, 4 years, and my laptop every 2, 3 years, because while I could use my laptop for programs after 5, 6, 7 years, i couldn't play anymore. So, as a conclusion for today, if i wanted to just stoll around on the net, I would buy a cheap PC, with i don;t know, 1000$, and use it for years, but if I want to buy a mac pro, with the latest specs, just like other computers (I mean desktop computers now), I would have to pay in excess of 5 to 15 K dollars, which is ridicule. So I better get a 3 K machine, with the same specs, and change it later for the quarter of the price. I hope I was not talking alone again.

macs don't even get old after 5 years of use. I have a 9 year old Powermac G4 Cube, still running iTunes for my music and internet browsing and other stuff, many of my friends still use old Macintoshes, because they are just that good.

Yeah, My iMac (2007) Aluminium model broke, the hard drive died about two weeks ago, I've been using the cube ever since. I can't say that this is machine is unusable, or too slow, or too buggy. It's not one of these things. It's Speedy, COMPLETELY bug free, unlike the new intel-macs, quiet and so on. Overall, really great machine. Oh, I do feel deeply sorry for u my friend, because I am in a sence an artist as a dentist, my mother tought drawing, and painting, my sister finished her piano school, and normal high school in the same time, and I spend my time on photoshop, and one thing I learned is that even a caricature is art, a child drwing with mud is art, just go on youtube and look at people drawing with musturd, BBQ sauce, make up material, and countless things, and every one of these videos is art, pure creativity.
