The fact that a convertible with less power than the Veyron beat it around a track really shows how much weight kills performance.

They are both really overpriced though, the problem with Pagani is that they are a small company with limited manpower so they take ages researching, which costs money.

The problem with the Veyron is that it took too long in development.

Of course, at the end of the day "expensive" is a relative word and as both models are sold out, someone must disagree with me.

The Veyron doesn't actually have 1001 horse power. It has 1001 PS, or Pferdestärke, which is German for "Horse Strength." PS isn't normally used now as a power measurement, but they chose it for the veyron because 1001 is a more impressive number than 987.
