I'm still not sold on these tablets compared with netbooks ... sure tablets and thinner and have cool touch screen features, but you can't beat a real keyboard and additional USB ports, not to mention much more storage space in netbooks ....

This is dated but accurate. I just saw it in a Best Buy in Overland Park, KS yesterday 16 July 2011. The resolution was great. The functionality was fine. Will look forward to seeing all the apps come out for it that I have on my iPhone such as AutoCad viewer, an iMovie type editor, a version of Photoshop, Dragon Naturally Speaking, something that will read Word and Excel docs. Probably will be all available in a short time. It played Flash videos fine. I love the connectivity sockets.

I would agree that the demo is not running Honeycomb and is only running Froyo. The live background it had on the display is the same one my wife has on her Froyo Droid X. But the Flash does run and even though it wasn't demoed... believe it. My Froyo Droid X is at Adobe Flash v10.1

@blogbyjeff The live background is the same one since the nexus one came out. It doesn't mean the Os version is the same. Look at the laucher .. This is the greenish launcher that comes out with 2.3 (Gingerbread) and 3.0 honeycomb. The one things which seems strange for a Wifi only version is to have a dialer in the launcher :)

HTML5 and AJAX are the future for mobile web development, even Adobe knows this. Basically Flash is great if your plugged into to a coal burning plant. :)

I've watched lots of T.V shows directly from some websites through their embedded flash player. Also, your right about the honeycomb thing, the moto people keep saying "our xoom is sweet cause were the only ones to have honeycomb blah blah, well they clearly dont, all they do is play demo videos"
