I have liked this gun since it was developed in the 90's. A good urban combat weapon. Its small package with no barrell potrusion making it ideal for room sweeping. Barrel, bolt, mag feed all brought back inside the gun. Very smart.

@thetiniestbullfrog 20-30 years ago that would be true, when lvl 2a armor was the norm, but today the 5.7 wont touch even the weaker kevlar unless the steel core ammo is used. Bigger rounds are better, as it does not have to penetrate, but if it can cause a shove hard enough, it will rock your body and can kill you. Trauma plates have been developed which are a cheap solution that absorbs part of this impact.

@weeruz the Top mounted longitudinal magazine was a great design. The P90 magazine has a spiral ram at the end. when the bullets get pushed by the magazine spring, it gets pushed to a ram at the end, that ram is a spiral that loads the bullets from 90 degree to straight into the chamber. its an old design which still has a patent on it. so thats why you dont see a lot of guns that use the Top mounted longitudinal magazine. unless you have a helical magazine drum for the bizon, p90s rival.

The mag is actually rather simple. The straight path starts to curve in a downward helix at the round part at the back. That's all, very simple magazine.

Civilians are definitely able to own the 50 round magazines. The Restricted markings were required during the Clinton Assault Weapons Ban. Since the ban is now over anyone in a free state can purchase these magazines.
