@TheMinecraftMuse Very simple. If you watch closely, the enderman warps away and doesn't reappear in its new position for about a second. In that time, it warped to its underground chest and put in its pearl, so you wouldn't get it if you managed to kill it!

1) It takes no damage.

2) It teleports away.

3) It stays neutral (doesn't get aggressive.)

4) The arrow disappears. (It literally ceases to exist.)

@drepicpwn Durability no longer effects how much damage you take yes but there is also a bug with armor that makes you take even less damage than you should be right now. Wearing full diamond armor pretty much allows you to go swimming in lava for a short time.

Muse, just a tip. When you're fighting Enderman, equip a Pumpkin on your head.

Then they won't teleport away or anything. They'll just sit there and take the hits.

I'm not too sure how well it works during the daytime though.

HI TMM armor in 1.0.0 all types stop damage the same for aslong as the armor is on.....drifent types last longer then others and over time people can see that it dont move...armor with 1 hit will stop just as much damage as a bran new pice....sorry for bad english i only been learning it for 3 months

new update is that armor doesn't go down until one of the armor such as the helment/chestplate/leggings/or boots die then it goes down the better type of armor the more protection u have now

Yeah, armour is overpowered now. Durability doesn't effect it. You can swim in lava with diamond armour and full food and you won't lose health until the armour breaks.
