@VacTrooper fuck you, the microkorg is an excellent bit of kit. It was my first piece of synth kit and introduced me nicely, and I still use it today. It's an underappreciated synth and although accessible for beginners it is not limited as a beginners synth.
@cazmo222 While it is a nice introduction synth, it gets old and it has absolutely terrible synth sounds.. unfortunately, i didn't realize this until one week after I purchased it.. I only use it for MIDI now.. never for its factory settings..
@cazmo222 It'll go down in history as a legendary synth, but I personally don't care for it. Not enough polyphony. Upgrade to an MS2000 when you get the chance.
@geniepcoolkid Of course, as long as you have the correct interface for pro tools, and it has MIDI In/Out ports then yes.. I don't think the M-Audio interface has MIDI ports, but I run Pro Tools LE so.. I am unsure of that..

May I ask: can you use the microkorg as a midi controller for garageband?
joejumps4fun 2 years ago
@joejumps4fun Of course, as long as you have an Interface that operates with garageband, and it has MIDI In/Out ports.
