Asics makes some unbelievably awesome shoes. I've had 3 pairs of Kayanos but I just picked up their Trabuco 12 G-TX after deciding to switch to trails....gotta say I'm quite impressed.
take your shoes to a running store. if they have some miles on them (a month or so of training), the associates can tell you if you pronate. they look at whether the inside of the sole is worn down to tell. i went to sports authority and they don't specialize in running, but the guy could still tell me. kayano is mainly if you pronate (as there is an extended area on the sole), but I would go with nimbus if you have a neutral pronation range. again, i have used both and I prefer nimbus.
if you are comfortable wit the strikes you should get the numbus instead...strikes is more of a neutral shoe and so is the nimbus...kayano is consider stability with medial post, unless you plan to do atleast half marathon distance then get the kayano...just my opinion
has anyone seen the model with pictures of the new york marathon on the shoe?

Oh yeah, I'm on my second pair! They are great for people with flatter feet. If you have a high arch try the Gel Nimbus.
