It just seems amazing that, as long as voice recognition has been around, which is quite a LONG time now (not to mention cell phone voice recognized name tags, which never seemed to catch on), texting by voice recognized transcription has not yet come out - well I know we are way behind you guys in the US, but considering you are even making this commentary, I am assuming this to be correct. Wouldn't this be a f**king obvious new feature to add to modern cell phones? & how about number blocking?
yeh i see now i was maybe a bit quick to jump on your vid junosden, there is no consistency with trafic laws, in the uk we now get tickets from cameras that see us and send letters with fines and you dont even know you were ticketed till it arrives on your floor, who knows why cops stop you rather than someone else, but it has always been so, still havent got that info from uk car accident statistics, but sry for jumping on you about the car vid thing.
Its not that it illegal in CA but certain percentages they say, cannot be on the front doors. The problem is, the state is huge with varying climates. In the southern part of the state, it is warm and sunny for about 9 months out of the year. In the north, not so much.
The allowed percentage for the front windows is basically clear or 75%. That really does not do much when the car has been parked in the sun for many hours.
You can google for cell phone crash and find statistics showing that using a phone increases the probability of crashing. The AP article is an outlier.

Government is evil and stupid.

What? The cop that writes you the ticket gets 20%? Is that kind of practice in all states?
coladict 2 years ago
The cop himself does not get 20%. The police department that issued the ticket only makes about 20% from that fine, which in my case is $5.

In the UK it is illegal to use your mobile while driving unles you're using a hands free.
You get a £60 fine and 6 points on your license

Why is the window tint illegal in CA?
Because it make the driver difficult to see or because it make it hard for the driver to see in the dark?

Its also a combination of both. But as I stated in the video, my tint looks darker than it actually is.

hell just put your cell on speakerphone if you want hands free.

I prefer to use my earbuds to be honest. The speaker phone is just not loud enough on my phone to use in the car.

i can imagine that the sound of the road would drown out the speaker's sound

I have one better. I have a motorola T505 which is a bluetooth speakerphone with a rf modulater that can stream the call and music to the radio.
