  • a professional detailer would be able to wet sand the touch up so that it would have been as if it never happened

  • thanks for this, I have a chili red lotus elise, and I was looking for where to get some touch up paint and came across your video. I will check out the website. What I do notice is your paint is metallic, as is mine, and I was worried that the touch up paint I'd get would be more 'flat' so this gives me more idea that what I get will be suitable. Thanks x

  • It seems like the paint would be gone the first few times you washed your car, and especially after you tried to buff the area.

I might be wrong, but it seems like there should be a lot more to this.

  • Sweet Lotus. Shame about the damage though.

  • Thats one ugly as dude thats y he got a nice whip 1:36.

  • @crimsonsoul4 I think he looks cool. Kinda like Bullet Tooth Tony from Snatch.lol

  • Bit naughty as this is a fibre glass body shell. What about a rust affected chip??

  • Lotus cars are awesome but nobody buys them very much.

  • that fucking car is ugly, all yall r smoking cracck

  • @wirsindheldenowns you have no taste in sports cars then and if you think its ugly then keep your stupid comments to yourself

  • @ayala114 I suggest the fix it! pro. look it up its easier and such

  • any way i can buy this in the united states??

  • @ayala114 ????? the car? yea you can, i own one, but i could almost guarantee you, you don't have the money to buy one

  • nice.. love watching it..

  • hey.. what type of brush. a nylon one?? ..thanks in advance

  • what kinda paint are you using and were did you get it...

  • A tip for everyone...

ALWAYS USE A SMALL FINE TIP BRUSH!!! just like in this video, as my gf says to me, less can always be more! ;)

  • the lotus elise is a car that u do not wanna circuit race with.

  • What brush are you using???

  • do they have lotus in the us?

  • @1006Will Yes there are plenty of Lotus dealers in the US. I went to one a while ago and drove the Exige :)

  • @interfl0p than that must mean ur dicks a tad small

  • @royalplayasfor wow grow up fag

  • @interfl0p ... If you really went to a lotus dealer, you would have known they don't allow test drives for obvious reasons, I'm not being an asshole I'm just stating the obvious.

  • @A10WarthogsAreSweet My particular dealer was very friendly about allowing test drivers. They were advertising the new Lotus Evora and they had a line to test drive it. They also had the Exige out with a line to drive it. All they ask is if you know how to drive stick and guide you through their test route.

  • @interfl0p Oh, if there's a test-line then yea i guess they would, and if they were riding with you, then it makes since, because when i bought mine they wouldn't let me drive it by any means, so i just had to take a gamble and won but sorry if i sounded like an ass i didn't mean to sound like that.

  • @1006Will did you actually ask that? you could have googled it yourself and found out instantly.

  • after touch up paint, can you still see the scratch, or is it very hard to?

  • am i doing something wrong, or is there just no sound on this video?

  • this is probably a studpid question but i just chipped my guitar and was wondering if i could use this same method to fix it thanks

    logan

  • @1976hiboy yes that is a stupid question.

  • If I had a car like that I would have spend a $1000 and installed a complete clear bra so I wouldn't have to waste my time doing this cheap and ugly repair. No matter what you use you'll still see it, or I would say it is not perfect.

  • why not use xpell paint protection film...

  • typical guy loving his car more than his wife or family.

  • @videopencil and your point is....

  • @RubberRivet lol, my point is im one of those guys exexpt im a teenager and i dont have a car yet.

  • Wow a Lotus. LOL That kinda stole the show right now if you were advertising the product.

  • very very very nice elise. I rate the video 5* not just because of the instruction but the beautiful automobile. I'm jealous.

  • awesome car

  • nice lotus!

  • That car is so nice that I'd be doing touch up jobs at every stop light. lol.....I'd even try to buff out strangers reflections in it LOL LOL LOL..

  • @roblou62 hahahaha

"buff out strangers reflections" you made me laugh so hard good one buddy hehe :) indeed what a beauty well i have 20th anniversary golf gti i have chips here and there some scratches wanna fix it but cant afford for a new paint job damnnnnnnn looking for some solutions to bring this paint to new condition lol.

  • @CarManiac82 Hey I have used Duplicolor Scratch Fix Kit. It works so well you won't be able to really tell anything was there. If you get the color number of your car (sometimes inside the drivers door there is a label) and buy the kit, which was about $17.00 from an auto supply store, it has a filler, primer, buffer and paint. If you take your time, as it could take 2 or 3 days, you will be happy with the results. It is easy to do, just that you have to wait each step to dry completely.

  • cars hot

  • Baught a touch up kit from these guys it was brilliant! the video helped me and now my car bonnet has got no chips on it!! many thanks tony.

  • thank you for this very useful information
