thanks for this, I have a chili red lotus elise, and I was looking for where to get some touch up paint and came across your video. I will check out the website. What I do notice is your paint is metallic, as is mine, and I was worried that the touch up paint I'd get would be more 'flat' so this gives me more idea that what I get will be suitable. Thanks x

It seems like the paint would be gone the first few times you washed your car, and especially after you tried to buff the area.

@A10WarthogsAreSweet My particular dealer was very friendly about allowing test drivers. They were advertising the new Lotus Evora and they had a line to test drive it. They also had the Exige out with a line to drive it. All they ask is if you know how to drive stick and guide you through their test route.

@interfl0p Oh, if there's a test-line then yea i guess they would, and if they were riding with you, then it makes since, because when i bought mine they wouldn't let me drive it by any means, so i just had to take a gamble and won but sorry if i sounded like an ass i didn't mean to sound like that.

If I had a car like that I would have spend a $1000 and installed a complete clear bra so I wouldn't have to waste my time doing this cheap and ugly repair. No matter what you use you'll still see it, or I would say it is not perfect.

@CarManiac82 Hey I have used Duplicolor Scratch Fix Kit. It works so well you won't be able to really tell anything was there. If you get the color number of your car (sometimes inside the drivers door there is a label) and buy the kit, which was about $17.00 from an auto supply store, it has a filler, primer, buffer and paint. If you take your time, as it could take 2 or 3 days, you will be happy with the results. It is easy to do, just that you have to wait each step to dry completely.
