@bobyard123 Some of the story is true but not all of it. A lot of this is just what the producers came up with to give some kind of explanation behind the paranormal aspects. Jonah wasn't real he was made up for the film. If you google the true story it'll give you the information.

People on Yahoo Answers said this was one of the scariest movies ever made so I checked it out. Dissappointing - I don't find it scary at all and don't understand why everyone else does. The Grudge or The Others were waaaaay scarier. Even old movies like the Exorcist are scarier. Birds flapping = not scary. Just my opinion...
