everybodys taste could be differnt...but xavi is one of the greatest midfielders in history, and of course right now he is the best, only iniesta is close to xavi, and right after him is gerrard, silva and xabi alonso...i mean, for example, one of my favourite players are silva and iniesta, but i got to recognize that xavi is the greatest.
@Massilia12 I think that once Gerrard is paired with someone like Alonso, or Mascherano (any defensive midfielder) he is a lot better than Xavi. But on his own, Xavi works better than Gerrard.
@fluffymole0913 I think Gerrard and Xavi even if they're having the same position on the pitch are too different players. Of course Gerrard is an amazing player when he plays at his level but I think Xavi is more brilliant he is founding solutions we couldn't imagine on first for example.
