It's kind of like your hair. You condition your hair so it can be clean and soft right? Same thing with the battery, you condition it so that the battery can last longer by simply draining the battery and charging it to the max. But you should be aware that you don't have to do this everyday, which brings me back to my comparison with hair.. If you are constantly conditioning your hair, it will eventually get damaged right? Same thing with the battery, don't condition it everyday. Hope I helped.
its called "calibrating". you're technically supposed to do it for all rechargeable batteries. What you want to do is when you first get the phone, put the battery in and let it charge COMPLETELY (dont get excited and unplug it before it says its fully charged :)...) then use it as you normally would and let the battery completely run out...i mean fully dead. Then charge it up 100% again. this trains the battery or "conditions" it to understand its full capacity. :) hope that helps ya
the one thing i really enjoy about the myspace mobile feature on the lx is that when you wanna add a friend that requires an email or last name regularly, it wont ask you for it on the mobile version, thats effin sweet!
every time u take the phone off its charge before its don eit screws up the battery and u get less life so let the phone charge the whole time intil its compltely done then u wont hav problems
how do you drain the battery and i have had my lx for 4 days and my catalog still has not come up so i can download a ringtone what should i do. and can you set your music as a ringtone??
Or DO what I do... I carry an extra back up battery with me... and I always have my charger!!!! Simple as that .. car charger in the car.... charger for work and a back up battery if I am out and no where near a plug!!!!

yeah it only comes in blue (more like a dark blue) and brown as of now. on other videos it may look black but thats because the blue looks very dark (almost black) in not much light.

i got a used lx right...
