  • It's amazing how the brain uses surroundings to create contrasts with solid colours. XD

  • Huuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • It really is an amazing illusion, i didn't even need to use paint, just use your fingers to cover up everything except blocks A and B best you can, if you can't see that they're the same color, you'll clearly see B is actually a darker color and A is actually a lighter color.

  • if you quickly pres 1 and 8 fast like 1818181818181818181818181 you will see that it is the same color, it is amazing.

  • wtf. they are same colour!!! :d

  • this is real, just open it in paint and select the square from B and move it to A

  • Also btw the illusion is mostly A vs B. Go through the vid by messing with the bar and you will see if you rewind it while just looking at B the color doesn't change but A will.

  • If you fags don't believe me do this. hit printscreen, go to windows paint paste the picture, print it out, then cut those two pieces out and then come back saying it's not real. I did this to an old book I had because I thought "No fucking way" but it was....our minds need things like this to perceive the way we do. Our eyes are very simple and we need our brain to do these little illusions.

  • @kikook222

    Thanks mate :)

  • Paste a screenshot into paint, cut out part of the A block and part of the B block and put the cutouts next to eachother

  • what the Fu@k!!! only idiots will fall for this!!

  • @bmanzueto Bullshit...this is a real optical illusion. You'd be amazed on what our minds perceive without you knowing

There is another one very similar to this where the right side of the screen looks darker than the left, but you only see it that way because of how they did the line seperating them. Once they remove the line the screen changes back to the origonal color but in reality it never was another color.

  • @TonysTinyThings And then you buried yourself because of shame and hatred.

  • @Revynable - I checked this again in Corel Draw. Much to my dismay the screen shot I took at seven seconds clearly shows the two squares to be different colours. BUT... when I subtract all the extra squares and the cylinder it seems they actually ARE the same... well I'll be darned. I will now bury my head in shame. :-)

  • Visual illusion.

  • if u go from 6 sek. to 40 sek. you can see the change in an instant, but even so i don't know if they have changed or not...

but i think this is real...

  • Let me enlighten everyone who believes they are the same color. If they were both the same color then there would be no checkered pattern showing...it would be just a dark shape with no contrast. It just goes to show there's a sucker born every minute.

  • @nourbutwatmi and with every sucker born comes an ignorant person like you who thinks everything is fake. they are the same color. take the original picture and put the A and B squares next to each other. deal with it.

  • @nourbutwatmi they're both the same color. go to paint and do it. i promise

  • what wrong with u ppl, its a fake , at every time he cuts a part of the picture he darkens the B block a bit o.O

  • they're not the same colour.. O.o It's just the shadow of the cilinder that makes square B darker... Remove the cilinder and you'd have 2 different coloured pieces O.o

  • what a square piece of shit this video is

  • 我f.2本科學書夠有la~

  • Where u find the image

  • It's ironic that this optical illusion is so good, people are in denial LOL. Try it yourself, or google it. It's a very famous optical illusion that shows how we react to shades. It looks like it gets "darker" because YOUR eyes are slowly removing the connection with the shaded backgrounds.

  • @sas911 That's not what irony is.

  • @TpendragonT Is it..? Not really sure. Thought it was ironic because it's getting thumbs DOWN, for being so GOOD.

  • I tested this on photoshop, to my utter bewilderment, the two colors ARE the same. Anyone else thinking it's fake, please test it out yourself.

  • FAKE....

  • lol i thought like wtf how the hell do you want to prove it but this is cool why would ppl thumbs this down

  • Fake and gay

  • @jordycurtis96 neither fake nor gay..take a piece of paper and trace the squares from the screen in the starting image and cut out only the a and b square. when you put the paper back up it will block everything else enough to let your brain see the two squares are indeed the same color.

  • im color blind..

  • That is amazing, our minds judge the brightness of an object based on what's around it. :)

  • @DarknessAwaitsU everything relative to something. :)

  • This is NOT FAKE. The brain percieves colour based on the context, not just the colour itself.

  • I never really got this one...

    Still cool though! ^.^

  • Stop saying this is fake. This isn't fake. Just try it for yourself! Make a print screen of it, past it in paint, and get the color of both squares. They have the exactly same color.

  • its just the light colors around square B that makes it look light and b/c it was in shade you would think that it would me light and square a is really that color it dont change

  • FAKE

  • _|_

  • Guys make a sceenshot, open it in paint, use the "find colour" tool and clikc on B then draw a line form A to B, shit bricks

thumbs up so everybody can see this

  • @GoreValkyre what happens if u do that?

  • @1happyamy1

    miracles

  • do it yourself it works i just did

  • U darken it every time u cut a part of the shape... o and there is already a shade at Letter b witch is getting darker and darker.. that's it -.-

  • Fake

  • @DublinGav yea its real, i cut and pasted a and b together

  • its true if you kinda cover up everything with your hands leaving the squares open, it works

  • You meked it darked realy slow and thats it

  • yep used photoshop and it checks out

  • if you want know it's true. Print screen, paste and modify it with Paint or photoshop. erase it yourself. you can found it's AMAZING!!!

  • no when he cuts it, he brightens the black and darkens the white!

  • @miani8 No he doesn't, they really are the same color the whole time, just take a screenshot and do it for yourself, it works.

  • WTHWTHWTH

    Is that even possible?!

  • OMGOMGOMG

  • Wow most amazing mind warp ever. color is R119 G119 B119 on corel photo paint. An exact match. Thanks.

  • lol i checked with photoshop its really the same color amazing...

  • It's weirid.... I only started to noticed when all the blocked started to diaaspier

  • i spent a while flipping back and forth...this is legit my friends

  • it's because of the Shadow of the CYLINDER

  • I know that trick my dad has dome it before it's your brain tricking u!

  • Not same Color at start

  • @moosehamman No, colors doesn't change, i've just checked. The 2 colors are the same at the beginning. That's not a fake. Just print screen, open in 'toshop and you will see...

  • why cant every one be happy?

  • Its just the shadow coming off on the object.

  • @NeneTv723 But you don't notice that they are the same after looking at the darker ones around it, making it hard to tell if they're the same. The shadow is the whole purpose.

  • Thumbs up if you always pause these kind of videos to read the comments first :P

  • Paint doesn't pick up the right colors. They are definitely different. Towards the end of the video, the pictures are becoming gradiently the same. I can see they are not exactly as the beginning, Nice try, but fail.

  • @ZaCkOX900 you're the fail dumb ass we did it in school same picture and everything except we just folded the paper, that's why i came here

  • @KelliferandLanifer Open paint, ZOOM IN ON THE COLORS. Notice you can paint them and they are different. But barely noticable. Paint also has less colors than photoshop. Come back and post something right. Printing this out is going to print close colors. Noob.

  • @ZaCkOX900 your a fail and a duche get over it, your wrong

  • @KelliferandLanifer You fail to see why I am right and you are wrong. You are the real duche. Grow up and learn. Open paint like I said, zoom in, and see the colors are different. Now reply I'm a duche again, go head, you'll never learn. Failure.

  • u no wat best illusion is when u find this video and u get rick rolled or dick rolled wen u click in link and u cant close it witch gives u a virus witch makes u poor witch makes u live in the streets witch makes u get sick witch makes die lesson careful wat u click or watch in youtube

  • @warhugger be quiet now

  • the human brain is not perfect at perceiving things such as dynamics or light and dark in fine detail. that is why this illusion can take place.

  • wow. that was so cool. it ALMOST made me not believe it.. haha pathetic.

  • theres loads of these kind of things on sourmath.com some of them are amazing

  • box B is actually grey in colour ... initially appears white cuz der's black all arnd it ... then when all blockes are removed it turns dark bcuz everything around it is white ... nice ! :)

  • gradual color change!!!!!!! only that

  • BRAIN EXPLOSION!!

  • booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

  • this is not amazing, its color change!

  • @Matijahs No, it's real. Try screenshot and paste in paint. Then use "Color Picker" to A 'n' B. It's same. :)

  • This is stupid, we all know its the cylinder's shadow that makes the b change its color.

  • @imjustdope it still looks whiter.

  • @godly80 lol i bet ur gonna get a racist response xD

  • @xevilneonx lol

  • @imjustdope fyi, the picture was drawn :)

  • i dont get it....

  • Is the shadow of the green cylinder that changes B's colour?

  • this is cool

  • If you blur your vision, you'll see it

  • woaa...ddnt expect that to happen :D

  • just go between :05 and :43

  • gay

  • im scared of watching this because some wat ever will pop out ;) XD

  • FAIL it changed color at the end when b was fully cropped

  • @btramisetty No, it didn't. I tried it for myself in Paint and I realized then when I stare at it, it is actually the same color as the other, even when not chopped off. Due to the contrast of the black, you'll think its lighter. You are FAIL, and the people who like this comment must try it for themselves.

  • thats y they call it illusion zzzz

  • FAIL

  • it IS the same colour!!!! :-OOOOOO

  • assume man!!! I watched several times and its still amazes me.

  • If you are on a mac, you can also use the digital colormeter app to see the RBG values of each square at the beginning.

  • OMG cool! Where did you find that? :)

  • it is because of the shades ... they trick the eye

  • one word: o_O

  • hahaha.. omg. .awesome !

  • If A and B are the same colour, we are fucked!

  • Comment removed

  • I tried it. Took a print screen, cut out portions and they were of the same colour!

The background score is from the Brad Pitt movie, Meet Joe Black.

  • 1- You darkened squared B

2- Square B should be brighter cuz it was on a shadow

  • @meganeves 1 ur a retard

2 go try it urslef...dont talk shit unless uve dont this k, k

  • @patpat122 I did, and gave my opinion, and learn to talk to somoene w/o tryin to offend, alright?

And square B would naturally be brighter becuase it was on a shadow, did you even read what i wrote properly before calling me a retard?

  • @meganeves well as i said go try it urslef it wouldnt naturly be brighter that what the ILLUSION is ... so as i said go try it urslfe if i wanna offend u i will but it should b impossible to offend someone over the internt

  • Its because B and the squares B are around are covered it shade from the cylinder, A and the squares nearby are not shaded. In comparision and naturual pattern B is white and A is black, but because B is shaded, it appears the same color as A. Very nice illusion, i enjoyed it =)

  • I know, its because of the cylinders shade going over square B, its naturually white and we see it that way because the squares its around are also shaded, but square A and the squares nearby to A are NOT shaded, but when we compare A and B they appear as the same color. Very nice illusion, i enjoyed it =)

  • why should i even watch this if you spelled color wrong in the beginning of the video?

  • whats the name of the music?? i recognized it, it sounds like a movie score

  • B change colo color i can demonstrate this first click 0:12 and then fast click 0:41

  • awesome :)

  • Doe who did you do that?

  • thats pretty cool. on a side note does anybody know the name of that song

  • that is a really cool illusion and i can tell that is so not fake great job on proving it too=)

  • Wow! Love the music you put here ;)

  • no there is a slight diffrence in color,VERY slight

  • For ANYONE who doesnt believe this you can find this picture on the internet, just open it up in paint, cut around A or B and move it to the other letter, and see for yourself, there is NO trickery involved.

  • the more piece u take out, the more gray it gets

  • Wow that is pretty impressive. If you don't believe this, press print scrn, then go to MS paint and hit Ctrl+V. Use the dropper tool. If you still aren't convinced, gradually erase all the blocks surrounding block B. You will notice it gets darker and darker.

  • As more of the picture is cut away, the color of B is darkened. Watch it again and skip from the first shot of it to the ending shot.

  • i know the trick

they took less light off a

and put more light on B you can see when they change colors when the shadow goes away and the multiple colors around dont trick u

  • its real dude, if you do what definatvideo says then I'm sure that'll just prove it, but this picture is a well documented example

  • Exactly)

  • Thats not fake, mate. Make a screenshot (Printscreen), then paste the image from buffer to MS Paint and use dropper tool tocompare the two colours so u ll see they are the same.

  • OMG!

  • WOW!

  • nice one!
