Creed has always made work that is recyclable. In idea and form his work can be easily be made for any moment, any time, and any place. He is an idea man. The natural ideas about what art is doesn't really count when you see his work, there is no classic craftsmanship here. He is a rebel to the static asthetic. And he puts the idea first. And its always pretty good. If you don't really like it. It really doesn't matter. If you like your art in a pretty frame look elsewhere.
In a printed discussion of this piece, the artist mentioned his experience of trying to run through a bunch of art galleries before closing time. Today's world is certainly a lot faster than it has been in the past.
I was fortunate enough to see this work in London. It certainly was shocking to have runners coming through the galleries at high speed. It was a contrast to the usual slow, snail's pace of viewers walking in an art gallery. Something about the text that went along with this exhibit made one think about the fact that it might be possible to view art while moving at top speed.
does anyone have a transcript for it, i have been trying to find one on tateshots as they normally have them, but this is hard to track down.

Ok so what your saying is the people who are running IS NOT art, but the concept or idea IS ART.

The runners themselves are interesting to watch: they are physically fit and determined.
