  • My absolute favourite as the words express my life and the tune is very moving and beautifully played

  • Very Beautiful I am impressed

  • Bravo! Thank you for the beautiful tunes.

  • On the eighth day, God told you to play that hymn, and post it on youtube for everyone to hear, and he saw that it was good. I saw that it was good too. Keep up the good work. :)

  • This is beautiful !

  • I have no specific religion, but I find christian music one of the of the most beautiful and inspiring genres.

  • Beautiful. God bless you.

  • It would be great if you had put the lyrics in the comments/information section ...for all these great hymns.

  • Such a beautiful gift God has bestowed upon you! Thank you for sharing it with us!

  • Bravo! Bravo! What I want to know is, why hasn't the Lord given me this skill?

  • @hattonhall commit and i promise the lord will give. Bless you keep trying.

  • Wonderful performance though i kinda miss arpeggio's

  • That was beautiful! Could you tell me what registrations you used? I would love to play it with those registrations on my organ!

  • Thank you - wish I could but with over 900 video's on here, I just put some Stops on which are pleasant to my ear and do not remember what I use for each video. Blessings to you - Lance †

  • Wow! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. Bravo

  • Enjoyed Truly Amazing Playing

  • I remember that many years ago, when I was only knee high to a grasshopper,

Dr. Donald Wittum the local farm veterinary would always suggest this hymn whenever our pastor (Reverend Grady Miller) asked for suggestions for the third and final hymn of a Sunday Morning Service. When Doc Wittum passed away he didn’t leave a list of hymns to be played at his funeral, so we all sang this hymn in his honor. Rest in Peace, Doc Wittum. † † †

  • thank you lance, the purpose of our ministry is to glorify the name of the Lord, and to bring souls the LORD and rejoice with them in his love and blessing ,,, bless you dear brother!

  • Lance, this is the most moving performance of this great hymn I've ever heard!

would like to get licence to use this on our radio ministry.

  • Thank you - no license required as long as you are using it to Glorify the Lord's name †

  • @organpipe8 Thank you very much to listen to this music and the magnificent sound of the organ. For my taste there is no sound more beautiful and elegant music played on an organ. Just wanted to ask you something. Could play the song A PALE WHITE OF SADE Procol Harum?. I know it is a topic that suits your tunes but here in Spain is played in many religious ceremonies. . To end my most heartfelt congratulations for the magnificent performance and stock their songs. THANKS

  • Magnificent performance! I've faved this for enjoying again and and again. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.

  • This song could make anyone cry, it's so beautiful and touching :')

  • this is my favorite song to hear my grandma useted to sing it to me all the time and you play it so beautifully i am sure god is overjoyed to hear you play

  • Very well done!

I play the Hammond H-111, a former Church organ of my own Parish. We seem to have similar styles for this piece. I play the 1st verse in sort of a low-key manner, with few instruments, and add more instruments for each verse. By the time I get through the 4th verse, everything is cooking! You seem to play with the same sort of feeling as I do! BRAVO! (My pastor seems to think I play it TOO emotionally. C'est la vie!)

  • You can never play this Hymn or any other Hymn with too much emotion. I play what I feel in my heart and I am sure you do also and that comes from GOD, HE gave us emotion, tell your Pastor that.... sounds like he might need a refresher course..... Thank you for visiting my hymns, look forward to your post.

Gotta say that it is not a fave tune for me ( perhaps I played it for too many funerals ? ) , but, I will try to put feeling into it . Thanks again, you have no idea how many times I look at your channel here for inspiration .

    Regards, Larry

  • You're welcome - my honor †

  • Didn't need to use my headphones, hae com hooked up to a massive stereo, noe I know why, lol

    Love the chimes, BTW

  • a moving thought provoking piece

  • This song touches my heart! It is so beautiful!

  • love the chimes.

  • Bagpipes or organ? Which does more justice to this hymn?

  • This song is good on bagpipes the organ or even any enstrument in the brass section even a piano will work for this song

  • Does it make a difference? Really the organ has more power, but it just depends on the occasion.

    GOD BLESS!

  • I think a combination of both would be quite spectacular, personally. Neither alone do more justice than the other. It's down to the skill of the musician, not the instrument.

  • I have performed this Hymn for a Funeral Service with a Bagpiper playing, it was so beautiful and NOT a dry eye in the Church †

  • Organ with trumpets/reds in "refrain".

  • organ...played gospel style...

  • not this organ though, i prefer the hammond..

  • Thanks - my own interpretation and I mention the Organ on my profile page (Viscount). Blessings †

Thank you for sharing. God bless.

  • Hello from Canada beautifully done:)

  • Thank You from your neighbor down South - Blessings †

  • very very well done!!

  • Thank You - Blessings to you †

  • i really love this version that you've played. Made it sound very full. the only issue I have is with the chords. I know the original score has similar chords to what you're playing however it'll probably sound more smooth with contemporary chords..

  • Sorry - but I am not using Chords, reading the music as written in this arrangement, I do not use Chords. Blessings †

  • Sorry. Wrong use of the word chord. my point is i loved the whole version except for the written music at the part "that saved a wretch like me". I recognise the fact that the original score of amazing grace sounds like what you've reproduced, however I was just making a suggestion on how it could sound more pleasing to the ear by tweaking some of the chords. But that is just my own opinion.

Continue to let this passion of yours burn for the Glory of God. Looking forward to more gd work. Agape.

  • This is so beautiful! Like you're other song's, this also sounds like it do in the church †.

    NYPD again ;)

  • Thank You - Blessings †
