On the eighth day, God told you to play that hymn, and post it on youtube for everyone to hear, and he saw that it was good. I saw that it was good too. Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you - wish I could but with over 900 video's on here, I just put some Stops on which are pleasant to my ear and do not remember what I use for each video. Blessings to you - Lance †
I remember that many years ago, when I was only knee high to a grasshopper,
Dr. Donald Wittum the local farm veterinary would always suggest this hymn whenever our pastor (Reverend Grady Miller) asked for suggestions for the third and final hymn of a Sunday Morning Service. When Doc Wittum passed away he didn’t leave a list of hymns to be played at his funeral, so we all sang this hymn in his honor. Rest in Peace, Doc Wittum. † † †
thank you lance, the purpose of our ministry is to glorify the name of the Lord, and to bring souls the LORD and rejoice with them in his love and blessing ,,, bless you dear brother!
@organpipe8 Thank you very much to listen to this music and the magnificent sound of the organ. For my taste there is no sound more beautiful and elegant music played on an organ. Just wanted to ask you something. Could play the song A PALE WHITE OF SADE Procol Harum?. I know it is a topic that suits your tunes but here in Spain is played in many religious ceremonies. . To end my most heartfelt congratulations for the magnificent performance and stock their songs. THANKS
this is my favorite song to hear my grandma useted to sing it to me all the time and you play it so beautifully i am sure god is overjoyed to hear you play
I play the Hammond H-111, a former Church organ of my own Parish. We seem to have similar styles for this piece. I play the 1st verse in sort of a low-key manner, with few instruments, and add more instruments for each verse. By the time I get through the 4th verse, everything is cooking! You seem to play with the same sort of feeling as I do! BRAVO! (My pastor seems to think I play it TOO emotionally. C'est la vie!)
You can never play this Hymn or any other Hymn with too much emotion. I play what I feel in my heart and I am sure you do also and that comes from GOD, HE gave us emotion, tell your Pastor that.... sounds like he might need a refresher course..... Thank you for visiting my hymns, look forward to your post.
Danke für´s einstellen. Es ist mein absolutes Lieblingslied. Der Durenwechsel; einfach genial. Genau das habe ich jetzt gebraucht. Once was lost but now ám found. `twas grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home. ty God bless you
Thank you for this. This song reminds me of my close friend who passed thursday. He was a great man and I miss him. Rest in Peace Leonardo Elaydo. May the Lord rest his soul.
excuse me sir!! my name is mathew and i am a organist in a church in doha and in our church we have content organ may i know ur organ please!!!!!!!!i love all the songs u play its so beautiful and a keep on listening to it!!
As always Lance, you play this one wonderfully and with feeling ! I am going to play this at church tomorrow, as the sermon hymn. Gotta say that it is not a fave tune for me ( perhaps I played it for too many funerals ? ) , but, I will try to put feeling into it . Thanks again, you have no idea how many times I look at your channel here for inspiration .
I think a combination of both would be quite spectacular, personally. Neither alone do more justice than the other. It's down to the skill of the musician, not the instrument.
excelent... beautiful... I am organist so on the one chrunch on croatia... great music and fantastic playing...sorry on may bad english...good bless you
Thank you for this beautiful music, it is the sound from Heaven! To listen it especially in the cold winter..... it warmed my heart and soul. God bless you and your family!
I love this organ and the way it sounds, the guy who plays this Hymn is a true Master, this hymn really brings a piece of mind i listen to it almost every day!!!!
Wonderfully played. I recently learned the full lyrics to this song and was looking forsome music to practice singin along with. This one was the one! God bless you!!!
i really love this version that you've played. Made it sound very full. the only issue I have is with the chords. I know the original score has similar chords to what you're playing however it'll probably sound more smooth with contemporary chords..
Sorry. Wrong use of the word chord. my point is i loved the whole version except for the written music at the part "that saved a wretch like me". I recognise the fact that the original score of amazing grace sounds like what you've reproduced, however I was just making a suggestion on how it could sound more pleasing to the ear by tweaking some of the chords. But that is just my own opinion.
Continue to let this passion of yours burn for the Glory of God. Looking forward to more gd work. Agape.
Lancei like your new version of amazing grace verry much the chimes make it awsome and its another one you can sit back and close your eyes and think and visulize Jesus Blessings whiskers 6

Bagpipes or organ? Which does more justice to this hymn?
sanpedrojohn 2 years ago
This song is good on bagpipes the organ or even any enstrument in the brass section even a piano will work for this song
kdm2r4 2 years ago
Does it make a difference? Really the organ has more power, but it just depends on the occasion.
GOD BLESS!
