Braid Maintenance: How to wash Cornrows Canerows (Demo)

@guerillakidd you right it will frizz up, I used a scarf while braids were wet, put some oil on scalp and rubbed it across braids, tied my head up. when I took scarf off the frizzies were gone.

I think i will try this, i have a sort of wavy design, and i cant wash my hair till next week, Thank for the vid!

GREAT JOB!!!! I think I will try this but take my toothbrush from left to right rather than up and down (between each braid). This way your toothbrush is going the direction of the way your hair is coming out from the root into the braid. (hopes that makes since)

My scalp can get itchy with braids, luv this techinque. thumbs!!!

Very cool!! I do mine with witch hazel, but I was wondering if there was an alternative!! Do you think this helps with dandruff/ dryness of your scalp??

@musiconfire10 this is a way of cleaning your hair while having in cornrolls. To get rid of dandruff, it can be by using a dandruff shampoo if your scalp is dry, moisturize. I hope this helps.

Try a mixture of tea tree oil, pepermint oil, sage lemmongrass oil. Now mix those with some castor, olive oil OR grapeseed oil. Put this in you scalp and let it sit for about 5 to 10 min and then wash out with dilute shampoo. Follow by conditioner and a leave in. Tie your head up while it is wet to help you hair lie down better for a more finisher look.

@MrMarkX yes I do, tied it like a bandana..the satin bonnet I have is a regular black satin bonnet no wholes.

@MrMarkX put on a do rag or a stocking cap before going to sleep. if you dont have any or cant find any try tightening a bandana or something (real thight. it shouldnt be able to move or fall off when youre sleeping)
